Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

Hi there This is really a suggestion for CR001, would it be possible to have a widget load alongside this thread showing the average processing time of applications? it would be much more helpful than reading through everyone's post about their timelines - as often these have incorrect or incomplete...

Quite a few of the posts showing processing timelines show
'status updated online'
what does this mean? Where can I check the status of my application online?

Thanks in advance,

Re: Biometrics asked for Citizenship when provided as part of Permanent Residence application

Hi CR001

Thanks for the quick reply.

Just wanted to double-check that the biometric process really has to be duplicated?

Especially as was done just over a year ago?

Much obliged sir!

Biometrics asked for Citizenship when provided as part of Permanent Residence application

Hi I have a permanent residence card as the spouse of a EEA citizen. As part of that process I went to the Post Office and did my biometric enrolment. Now that I have lodged my Citizenship application, I received a letter asking me to do biometric enrolment again. Is this an error on the part of the...

Re: British Passport application - a few questions

Thanks CR001. How about if completing the Passport form (1st time UK adult passport) together with the AN form (JCAP / NCS) , is it still not necessary to provide grandparent details?

Re: Section 3 MN1

Hi All The MN1 guide states for Part 3 of the MN1 form that "If the application is for a child born abroad, to parents who are British citizens by descent under section 3(2) or 3(5) you must complete this section, otherwise go straight to Section 4: Good Character." so far so good, happy to leave pa...

Re: British Citizenship -Language Requirement/Certified Pass

Hi IBCOM1 Can you let me know if you were successful in using your Australian passport as proof of English language? Reason I ask is, I phoned to book an appointment with NCS and they said if my naturalisation application is based on my EU passport, then I wouldn't be able to use my Australian passp...
