Hello everyone, Could anyone advise, please, how we can ask HO to expedite our relative's application for PR as she needs to travel overseas for treatment. The UK doctors are unable to save an organ and we want to try to do it abroad. Also, does anyone know if such a request may have a negative impa...

Re: Application for PR or PR card: form EEA (PR) - UpToDate

Hi Lyuda,
As I can see, you were applying as a non-EU citizen. I wonder of kind of card the PR will be printed on. Could you please kindly update us once received? Thank you.

Re: Permanent Residence Card - Processing Time 2017

Hi guys! Do you remember when asking for your passports back, did HO use your prepaid envelopes or they used their own ones? I just need my passport but dont know if I should send another envelope. Thank you.

Re: EEA (PR): Proof of dependency

Hi ecogle,
Many thanks for your reply.
What was the problem in your case? Was it rejected due to the lack of proof of dependency? How did you prove it?

Thank you x

Re: Permanent Residence Card Processing Time 2016

Dear All,

Does anyone know if Home Office treats elderly (non-EU citizens) applicants' applications for Permanent Residence on a priority basis? Ive heard somewhere it should take about 42 days?
Please correct me if I am wrong.
Thank you :)

Priority turnaround for elderly applicants

Dear All,

Does anyone know if Home Office used to give any priority to elderly non-EU national applicants applying for Permanent Residence (EEA PR)?

Many thanks in advance x

Re: EEA (PR): Proof of dependency

Dear noajthan and Obie, Thank you very much for your advice. I am now facing a dilemma and not sure how to switch the sponsorship. 1. Do you think it would be better to provide my parents' financial dependency just on my brother (for the last 5 years) and state he is helping with their health care (...

Re: EEA (PR): Proof of dependency

No need - you can switch sponsors. Its all about the evidence at the end of the day. Hi noajthan, Sorry for being a pest, I am trying to find that regulation about switching sponsors (within EEA regulations), does it it exist anywhere in writing at all or its just a common sense rule? Thank you ver...

Hi ecogle, Thank you for your reply. Re: EEA (PR): Proof of dependency

Dear noajthan, Thank you so much for your help. Yes, thats true, you need the right person to sponsor. I believe my brother is the best option as he is looking after them and provides any care and support (along with me, of course :) ) I was just worried that if a person who was acting as the sponso...

Re: EEA (PR): Proof of dependency

Hi Noajthan, Thank you for your reply. If referring to Pedro's case (link given below), can we say if the applicant is a parent of an EEA national - can the dependency be still recognised as a matter of fact? "As a result of Pedro, the position of dependent relatives in the ascending line (and presu...

Dear noajthan, Many thanks for your reply. Do you know if a dependent should/must provide his/her proof of dependency even if applying with form EEA4 which is not asking for it?
