Re: FLR (M) application questions

We are going to Croydon Core centre but are still having to pay 100 GBP for the appointment. I searched almost every centre in the country and there is quite a long wait for a free appointment.

Re: FLR (M) application questions

Hello, I have just completed my husbands FLR(M). It is the first extension. For the question Is this the first time you have applied for a partner route, or an extension, with your current partner(including as a fiancé(e) or proposed civil partner)?, I have put NO. Thinking it's not the first time t...

LTR Application

Hello, Sorry as this is probably a stupid question but .... I have started my husbands LTR application on gov.uk site, from the page Apply, or extend visa. Should I have specifically started it from the page Apply on line (Form FLR(M))? Or what I have done is OK. From the first page they look to be ...

Re: Leave to Remain Advice please

Hi, Sorry if I should have made a new post for this. I have a couple of queries. Should my husband be applying for FLR (M)? There seems to be different options and I can't see where you find out the difference. I have started the application on the HO website from the extend family visa page, not a ...

Re: Leave to Remain Advice please

Hi CR001

We have around 7 K combined in UK bank account, 4 of which we have only held in this account for two months.
The rest of our savings are in Indian currency equivalent to 46K in a savings account and the rest in investments. I can use investments? These have been held for one to two years.

Hello, My husband has been in the UK permanently for 5 months (He is Indian on spouse resident visa). We are travelling to Europe and are looking for travel insurance. Most policies have clauses that you have had to be a resident for 6 or 12 months. Can anyone recommend a company that does not have ...

Re: Indian Passport and UK issued BRP- where can i travel?

Apologies in advance if I shouldn't post on this thread, but wondered if you had managed to get a Schengen visa without showing the return flight tickets etc. I'm in almost the same situation as you, British married to an Indian, and we're wanting to travel asap. I'd originally thought we wouldn't h...

Re: IS a visa required to travel to Europe?

Thank you for your reply. I have done some further reading, and yes it would seem we need a Schengen visa which should be issued free of charge from an embassy, and you shouldn't have to provide travel tickets etc. I was hoping not to have to travel to London. Does anyone know if there is anywhere i...

Hello, My husband (Indian) is applying tomorrow for his Settlement visa in Mumbai. I am here with him. From other posts I have seen that the UK spouse has included certified copies of their passport. Regarding the NARIC certificate, once he has this I take it, that it is valid permanently, and this too can be used for ILR (as it stands now).

Re: English Requirement

Hello, we are in the process of getting a letter from the University to confirm he studied in English. Once we get the UK NARIC certificate, is this valid permanently - we'd be able to use it for Leave to Remain / Citizenship in the future? If we can't get the said letter he will opt for taking the ...

They own their house, so I have to show the deeds of the house? Can this be a scanned copy? I know they won't send me the original.
Thanks again.
