So, with January all but gone, there is still no sign of the hoped for registration documentation. Concerns now start to arise - the bank draft and special delivery expire at the start of March, but the most important aspect is the child close to turning 18! Yes, that would be useful. Our application is pretty straightforward (in my view) – through grandparent, still alive and living in Ireland. Based on submission dates, and assuming no errors, we should be processed within a month of each other.

It was around the 4th September. I contacted them and they confirmed receipt. They said the application was being processed but could not be tracked. They advised that it could be 6 months or more depending on the application. I gather its just wait until its processed. Good luck with yours.
