Re: ***NEW*** UK Visa and Citizenship Application Services Centres

So no more same day / in person services :?: Side note : We are existing EU yet HO starting a "commercial" partnership with an EU based company! and allowing them to make profit and collect highly sensitive personal data :!: :!: :!: No wonder why HO is increasing fees, after all they need to feed th...

RE: ***NEW*** UK Visa and Citizenship Application Services Centres

What about existing (in person) same day visa extension service?
Is this services being abolished or replaced by new service or something?

Thanks

Re: ILR GRANTED SAME DAY AS BABY BORN

that's interesting. You must be a settled person "before" the birth, then the baby is automatically British citizen. Date on the BRP is the date when the BRP was issued and not always necessary the date of settlement or date of grant of initial leave. Wait for the letter and see. Having said the, if...

when it comes to additional information sometimes is not enough
Regards
Black ink, CAP / block letters on the form, if space is not enough for add. info. write / type on separate sheets of paper and, write on the form "please refer to cover letter or statement for additional information"

Re: LEAVE TO REMAIN

A child should have continuous residence in the UK for at-least 7 years to create a base for an application for leave to remain, your 4 yo has been in the UK for 6 years and he's now 10 yo, I guess not enough for FLR(FP) application... or may be further submission or a fresh claim !

Re: HO allows new application after deception

if someone was overstayed but later on granted 2x 3-Year DL on the basis of FP, will he/she be able to apply for ILR after 6 years and when will he/she be able to apply for nationality?
That's not deception right?

Re: Can an overstayer with a british child marry her partner

For your own research, I think you should be looking into FLR(FP) - 5/10 year partner or parent route. You must establish a genuine, subsistence and active relationship with your British children. What role do you play in their upbringing? How would it affect your children if you had to leave the UK...

Re: ILR after six years on DLR

Just to add here if she came into the UK in 2010 and since she has been on some sort of leave (never overstayed or something), she might be able to apply for ILR after 10 years of lawful residence, so no need to wait for another 10 years :)

Re: ILR after six years on DLR

There has been significant changes in her circumstances, DLR was based on relationship / partner "fiancée visa" now relationship has been broken therefore she does not qualify for ILR based on that, however, she is the mother of British children therefore HO will not deport her and she can apply for...

Re: ILR after six years on DLR

I guess HO will put her on 10y route as she can't meet the conditions required for 5y route.
She should apply (after getting professional advice) for further leave to remain using form FLR(FP) along with fee waiver.

Try using OISC qualified / authorised immigration adviser.

Re: Used wrong application form for ILR and now received refusal letter

If you made the application using the wrong form the HO should have given you an opportunity and should write you and allow 10 working days to correct the problem. I guess they did not follow the correct administrative procedure by refusing the application prior giving you opportunity to correct the...

Members are NOT permitted to name companies or solicitors on the forum. You will need to find someone who is OISC registered to assist you. Also note that a solicitor/advisor very often gets even the most basic applications horribly wrong. 100% agreed. just a couple of days ago one of my friends wa...

Due to change in circumstances, unfortunately it will highly unlikely that she will get ILR. She can apply for F...
