Re: No public funds, covid19

Thank you for that link.

Yes it was good news last night about me getting my wages. Its not enough for us both to live on if he has to stop working, but we will see, hopefully his job will be secure. The link regards the rules on no public funds is very useful. Thank you and stay well x

No public funds, covid19

I am wondering what my husband and my position will be regards getting assistance in this crisis. I am a British citizen, but my husband is Indian and has been in UK with me 2.5yrs. His spouse visa is no access to public funds and I I think that despite being British, that his status is applied to a...

Re: TLS - eDossier Self Upload

I did not have too much trouble with the uploading. It is true that the categories are a bit odd, but they kind of make sense. There was a preview and there was no lag when I was doing it....Once uploaded I was also able to go back and remove and add stuff etc and you can put a description by each f...

Re: TLS - eDossier Self Upload

We did this a couple of weeks ago and there is a 6mb filesize limit. The advice on their website is to scan in black and white to reduce filesize. And to split large files if necessary and just name them appropriately bank-statement-part1.pdf bank-statement-part2.pdf etc etc. Scanning in black and w...

You seem to have the steps right. It will become clearer as you complete the steps. Once you submit the online apication form, the website will direct you to make the payments for nhs etc. Once you have paid, the website will direct you to the ukcvas website where you can book your biom appointment ...

Re: Spouse Visa Extension

I want to use super priority - is it really in two days or five days or can be really long? My husband did his spouse visa extension last week after living here 2.5yrs. We used the super priority service. It was a straight forward case. This is the time line. Tues Feb 4.. Submitted application and ...

Re: Extension of Spouse Visa - Hard Questions

Our original application was back in 2015.We waited 2yrs for an appeal date, won that in 2017. The original application did not ask that question and as far as I knew we applied for a spouse visa. But after the appeal was won, he was given 1mth to enter the UK and then was given a BRP. It's confusin...

Spouse visa appeal allowed but contact details changed

Since originally appealing a spouse visa refusal back in Nov 2015, my contact details have changed. The email address put on the forms back then we no longer have access to and I am really worried what is going to happen regards further communications. Spouse visa refusal overturned by appeal judge, what now?

Last week, after a one and a half year wait, I finally had my day in spouse visa appeal court. Only just as we were on the floater list, but a judge did take a look at our case and the home office representative at the hearing actually conceded at the hearing and the judge told us that he would get ...

Re: Going through such a hardship... i need help

Something else occurred to me, that is you have mentioned that you are suffering from anxiety and depression. I think it would involve you being in the UK for sometime to do this, but if you were to have such conditions diagnosed by a doctor in the UK and if you were awarded DLA, then you would not ...

Re: Going through such a hardship... i need help

I really feel for you, it is very unfair that you are unable to live in your home country with your husband. I have a friend in a similar situation, except her husband is Indian. They travelled to Greece and then Malta, using her right to free movement within the eu schenghen zone. They now live hap...

Re: Staying with EU spouse after tourist visa expires?

Thank you for these replies, and the understanding of my situation. secret.simon is right that people can be lynched over dietary differences. I tend to like to not rock the boat, so i go with the flow and eat dal and rice here most of the time...if we want some eggs we have to hide them from our la...

Re: Staying with EU spouse after tourist visa expires?

Thanks, got it... i am no stranger to being highly strung from the stress and cost of dealing with immigration laws. I just wish a spaceship would pick me up and take me home (with my hubbie) ;) Anyway, as going home and being able to introduce my husband of a year and a half to my family in the uk ...

Re: Staying with EU spouse after tourist visa expires?

Perhaps the EU could learn some UK law and introduce the concept of legitimate expectations and of transitional arrangements into EU law. Well the traditional British sense of fair play may yet come to the fore and save the day as its more about Brexit negotiations than underlying EU law. hmm, not ...

Hello! http://www.crosshatchdesign.com/clare-mani-80.jpg This is me and my hubbie Mani, I put it because on paper the age gap sounds weird, but really we are a normal couple.
