Re: SPOUSE VISA EXTENSION -33 Months

I have similar question, has anyone used the same certificate that was used at part of successful previous application? From the Guidance Notes it is clear that you don't need it, however I have not seen any posts of people using the same certificate again. https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/syst...

She has been given 30 days visa to come to UK and collect her BRP. I have few questions around the time she will be outside UK and how it might impact us in fut...

Re: Spousal Visa Application - Pakistan (Timeline Only)

We applied in Malta, although not strictly same situation as everyone applying from Pakistan but timeline was pretty much same. It took just above 8 weeks for application to complete. Time line biometric on 09/06/15 Passport returned via DHL: 13/08/2015 Outcome: 28 days VISA granted. Few things I no...

Re: Spousal Visa Application - Pakistan (Timeline Only)

I had same reply from them, with or without GFW prefix. The call center can not track your application, I believe they can only track short term visa applications. If you chase them they will escalate it to someone who will check and give you an answer on the status. The staff in the first line resp...

Re: NHS Surcharge paid after premium service payment

don't think so. IHS number is needed by UKBA, and should be written on application front page. As long as you do that, you should be ok i believe.

Seems like a call center, I did call them and emailed too. Both times they got back saying they can't find the GWF number and will escalate. Still have not heard anything back from either calls.

Re: HELP: UKBA have not record of application....

There is no way to track your application... thus they would have no way of checking on a specific application number. All you can do is wait. If there is no word after 6 months, you can get your MP involved. I imagine it was stressful, but bad advice is given all the time on those phone lines and ...

HELP: UKBA have not record of application....

We applied for my Wife's visa in Malta. It was submitted on 9th of June, we have the GWF number of the application. However after 5 weeks of waiting when I called UKBA today on 00 44 1243 213 297. They told me they can't find the application of the reference number mentioned. The Center where we sub...

URGENT: Biometrics

Hi, I am applying spouse visa for my wife from Malta. We paid the online fee and got the appointment for tomorrow. Does she need to do Biometrics at the time of appointment? There is no mention of this in the application, but the center doing the application has some sort of Value added service for ...

Re: HOUSE INSPECTION REPORT

Thanks vinny, in my case, I own the house and am the sole occupant. I am going to submit house deeds, council tax letter which shows single resident discount applied and mortgage statements. Think that will be enough?

Re: British Citizen Sponsoring Wife from Malta

Thanks Casa, that is what I thought. Malta is not very generous when it comes to giving nationality to foreigners, mainly because it is a small place. Can anyone confirm if I can submit a self done house report? I have one that I had done few years back by a house surveyor, I can probably use the sa...

Re: British Citizen Sponsoring Wife from Malta

She applied for residence permit almost 6 months ago, still have not heard back anything. They are pretty slow in Malta when it comes to this sort of stuff. I was hoping we would get that and then we won't have to go through UK sponsorship process, but still not luck.

So what happens when someone who comes to UK and start to work on a VISA issues for longer than 6 months? They would pay NI and Tax for their job, do they get this refunded to them?

Re: how much healthcare surcharge

Thanks guys, when trying to pay for the surcharge, it asks you which Visa centre you are making your application. In our case it will be Valletta, Malta. This not listed in the list available in dropdown. I am wondering if that is a bug, because the visa centre is listed when you look for it on http...

The first referee works for a large company which is VAT registered. I don't understand why they won't qualify? Can you please explain why you think they might be applicable? Sorry for being persistent on this.
