Re: HO returns documents and confirms successful application

Thanks a lot Romeo. My NCS just copied letters from educational establishment and employers plus P60s (no payslips or utilities). Fingers crossed no more is needed, but can't do much apart from sit and wait :)

Re: HO returns documents and confirms successful application

Hi Romeo,

Congratulations re the incredibly quick approval. My situation is exactly the same as yours (EEA, PR plus 1 year). Could I kindly ask you which supporting documents you included in your application? Letters and P60s or something additional?

Many thanks,

Leo

BC Application with NCS - Residence requirement (EEA)

Hi All, I have been raising questions on this forum before and you all have been incredibly helpful. I have my appointment with Islington NCS scheduled over the course of next week and I have (obviously) a last minute freak-out in relation to the residence requirement. I am an EEA citizen, so my pas...

Re: Physical presence 5 years before application received

Many thanks, this is reassuring. At the time I was a lodger and all my bills were in my landlord's name, so all I have is the letter from uni plus bank accounts recording transactions on or about 5 years ago. Fingers crossed.

Many thanks again!

Physical presence 5 years before application received

Hi All, First of all, many thanks in advance for your help. I booked my appointment with the NCS (Islington) on 1 February. This means that, to satisfy the "physical presence" requirement, I need to show that I was physically present in the UK on or about 1 February 2012. I have a letter from my Uni...

Re: Form AN - Letters from Employers

Many thanks for your prompt reply! I read the guidance and they just mention that they require "letters from present and past employers". I was just worried that my letters were too old and this could pose a problem. Any experience on this? Technically if a letter states that you worked for X from 2...

Form AN - Letters from Employers

Dear All, Happy new year! I am writing this post because I received my PR card on 01/02/2016 and I have my appointment with the NCS to file my Form AN on 01/02/2017. I came to the UK in 2010, I studied for 2 years and worked ever since. When I was applying for PR last year I obtained letters from my...

Form AN (EEA) - Letters from employers

Dear All, I am about to apply for BC and I have a quick query. As I am sure you know, I would need to provide evidence in relation to the past 5 years in order to fulfil the residence requirements. Last year I successfully applied for PR and, as part of that process, I obtained letters from all past...

Re: Form AN (EEA) - Do I need other documents besides PR car

I know it's a different process, I just wanted to introduce a bit of pathos to the conversation (talking about passports is more romantic after all). I am pretty equipped when it comes to the documents described above (being slightly OCD), but I hope my old letters (the once I used for the PR applic...

Re: Form AN (EEA) - Do I need other documents besides PR car

Shall do. I have already made a pretty comprehensive list for my PR application, which I am keeping up to date, so will use that. I am sure the UKBA has enough resources to do the appropriate checks before giving me a passport :D

Many thanks and happy holidays!

Re: Form AN (EEA) - Do I need other documents besides PR car

Many thanks Simon. Could I be cheeky and ask you what would you bring on the day? I arrived in the UK in September 2010. In order to get the PR card I submitted evidence covering the period from September 2010 to September 2015. I will re-bring to the NCS that same evidence plus payslips and letter ...

Re: Form AN (EEA) - Do I need other documents besides PR car

Thanks all for your answers. I am not married, so I will follow your advice and take with me evidence of residence for the past 5 years. I am thinking letters from University / Employers, bank statements, payslips, P60s, P45s, bills, tenancy agreements (the usual)...Hopefully the NCS will pick and c...

Re: Form AN (EEA) - Do I need other documents besides PR car

Many thanks for your reply. I became permanent resident in September 2015 and I am aware that I could have applied beforehand, but, out of an abundance of caution, I decided to wait until 12 months after the PR card was issued. So, in practical terms, what would you suggest I bring with me on the da...

Form AN (EEA) - Do I need other documents besides PR card?

Dear All, I am an EEA citizen and I received my PR card on 1 February 2016 and (out of sheer enthusiasm) I have already booked my appointment with the citizenship checking service on 1 February 2017. I fulfilled all requirements (PR card held for 12 months, life in the UK test, English test at a B1 ...
