Re: EU PARTNER

When you say partner do you mean wife or gf? Not really my place to say but as you have been married for three years and you do end up getting a divorce you might be able to stay with a retained right of residence as long as your wife has been exercising her treaty rights for the three years.Regardi...

Re: Settled status processing times

I do not think they have started processing the Settled Status applications for non-EU. I have been married to my wife for over 7 years now and should get settled status but both of us applied on the 21st late evening and she received her's 23rd first thing in the morning and I haven't received anyt...

When my brother was in your situation. His insurance cost him around £2200 per year for the first year but this was in London. Outside would be probably half of that.

Getting Married to an EU national while non-eu on IS96 but passport available

Hi, Is it possible to get married to an EU national while on reporting duties with IS96 if non-eu still has his passport with him? The non-eu has a flr(fp) pending with the home office and about to do a JR for this refused ILR. Is there a chance of being detained? They are both not living together b...

EEA (QP) on worker (employed) Public Funds section

Section 9 - Public funds (state benefits) Why is this a requirement to fill if someone is a worker? My wife claimed housing benefits around 5 years ago. I don't see how this would be relevant if she wants to apply for EEA(QP) based on her employment that she's had in for the past couple of years and...

EEA extended family member validity

Hi, I have a non EEA brother who currently lives in the UK but has no leave to remain left. My wife is an EEA national but we only married after me and my brother were living in UK so he wasn't dependent when he moved here so his EEA(EFM) was refused. He has been dependent on us for a while now and ...

Re: Flr (FM) validity question

Thank you for the link.

In that case is it better to apply for FLR(HRO) or FLR(FP) based on the first post.

Flr (FM) validity question

Hi, My brother is a non-eea and entered the UK in 2006 when he was 17 and he has never gone back to his home country since he has been here. His visa expired on January 2016 and since then he has applied for EEA extended family member twice, both was rejected but the final rejection was because he d...

Re: EEA permanent residence from 2008-2013 validity

Hi Sawitar, Thanks for your reply. I'm not sure if she was eligible for PR in 2013 hence the questions. She hasn't spent more than 2 years since and we have council tax/bank statements/self employed submissions to HMRC etc to prove that. I don't think the self employed period will count as it is gre...

EEA permanent residence from 2008-2013 validity

Hi, My question is 2 parts: 1st Part: a. My wife is a Lithuanian national and she has a worker registration scheme certificate that was issued on 10th March 2010 but the document states that her Job start date was 17 September 2008. Does the issue date matter or will her employment be valid from the...

Re: EEA national qualified for permanent residence 4 years a

Hi noajthan, There was maybe a month gap in the period of work every year apart from the final year but she was still employed then, just not taking any part time work after March. She mostly worked 20-50 hours a month. She was employed by a company so they were paying her tax and NI. I think she on...

Re: EEA national qualified for permanent residence 4 years a

Hi Casa and Obie, Thanks for your reply. She doesn't have CSR for her student years but did mention she has medical insurance in Lithuania. Not sure if it covers UK. Also, I've now looked at more documents she has and she first started part time work in september 2008 and her last date of work was e...

Hi, My wife is an EEA national from Lithuania and studied from September 2006 till november 2009 in a university and worked part time (with p60s for each year) from 2008 till the end of 2012. She hasn't worked since then till last month and now she's in permanent work now. We got married in June 201...
