HSMP extension

My HSMP was applied before February 28 2008. My Visa is expiring in 2012 and i was told that my case will be processed on the basis of rules that were applicable at that time. the UK government website calculator does not take a date before 29 February 2008. Can any one tell me what rules will apply...

Thats not the case.

My visa is based on my HSMP letter. the time gap is because the VISA was regretted once and then we appealed and won the appeal.

The VISA is for three years and states "Highly Skilled Migrant Program".

What to do Once i make my new entry in UK

Once i make my first entry into UK (with my family), what are the first few things to cater for in the first few days like insurances or registrations etc.
We do have some relatives in UK where we will be staying for the first few days so stay is not one of my issues

New Deal Card Rail Card?

My HSMP reads that i have no recourse to Public Funds.

when i move to UK. will i be allowed to utilize facilities like the New deals Rail card which allow upto 50% off on rail travel for jobless persons?

what other similar facilities and deals are available that i can utilize as an HSMP.

I applied for a job in UK and yesterday i received an email from the recruitment company that they need to ascertain my details and want a scan copy of my Passport and HSMP visa.

is it safe to provide these details

Strange, because i have heard that employment really goes down in Winters.

This year it seems that there are no jobs at all. i have HSMP since October last year and i am not getting any response.

I am of the old HSMP. Case got delayed in appeal. Now they gave me a three year visa.

IOM is the chest scan certificate for TB

IOM Certificate is expiring

I got my HSMP (including family members) in November 2009. I have not traveled to UK till now due to internal constraints. Now the IOM certificate is expiring by mid March.

How is this going to affect my Work Visa?
Will i still be able to travel to UK later on?
