Re: previous stay in the UK and AN application

Hello, I thought I should post an update on my case: I finally did email the HO as Indguru90 suggested and received an auto-reply message with a list of answers to typical questions and further contact details along with a number to call if my question wasn't on the list. I phoned them to explain my...

Re: previous stay in the UK and AN application

Thank you very much indeed Indguru90. Do you think it might worth it to write a letter to the HO explaining? I was really in the same employment before as I am now though, only difference being my salary of course. I've always been on PAYE so all tax due was paid and I never had any other income. So...

previous stay in the UK and AN application

I was wondering if anyone could help me with this: I'm an EEA national and I have recently send my AN form for naturalisation. I first came to the UK as a student in 2006, stayed a year as a student and then started work for a couple of years until October 2009 when I left the UK, thinking at the ti...

Hey extremal, thought I should let you know I just received a new DCPR today with the correct name on it, in a signed for envelope!

Very happy indeed this thing is settled now!

Re: Misspelled name on DCPR

I got a phone call from my caseworker a couple of days ago to ask me to send the wrong PR document back so they can replace it. She didn't ask any questions, only told me that I should have included the wrong document in the first instance. So, I think, best thing to do is to write to the person tha...

Misspelled name on DCPR

Hi everyone, I received my DCPR just before Christmas but unfortunately my first name was misspelled by the Home Office. I tried ringing the helpline for EEA citizens and was told to send an email to BRCError@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk. When I did however, I received an automated email back saying that m...

Re: Application for PR or PR card: form EEA (PR) - UpToDate

Hi everyone, I've been lurking around these forums for months now while I was preparing my DCPR application. I just wanted to thank everyone for their continuous input and help and to share my timeline. I received my DCPR on 19/12, exactly 3 months after I posted my application to the Home Office, a...
