Yes, that the way to check if the visa is still valid. The boarder will stop me without a valid visa.

Re: urgent! please help on my curtailment letter issue.

I would strongly suggest you take note of FrontierMole's post/advice, he is one of the most knowledgeable forum member with regards to Tier 2. HO will likely know you left, surely you scanned your passport/boarding card on departure through the security barriers? Thank you for your suggestion. Is ...

Re: TIER 2 change of employer

If you apply from your home country you will have to complete the 12 month cooling off period - which will start from the last date you left the U.K... last month, not September 2016. You can only apply for a change of employer in the U.K. If you're COS states you are not in the U.K. then the ...

Re: Travelling abroad during 60-day curtailment period

A curtailment letter is only sent, if it is sent, once you have left your employer. They have an obligation to notify HO within (I think) 10 days of your termination/leaving the company. How long HO takes from there to issue a curtailment letter is anyone's guess. A point to note is that if you are ...

Re: > 60 days break. ILR possible?

Hi! would anyone know of cases when people successfully applied for ILR when they had more than 60 days between the jobs? My case: termination date on last job - 11 of July, planning to apply for a new Tier 2 on September 20th (Premium service). No curtailment letter ever received. If I didn't lose ...

Re: Tier 2 Curtail leave

Hi, I am currently working in the UK on a T2G, however I am planning to prematurely end my employment. I am actively looking for another job to try apply for a new visa before my current visa expires in 2020. I saw in the UKVI Sponsors guide that they have to advise the HO within 10 working days of ...

Re: URGENT Tier 2 rejection - curtailment of leave

Another question - I know you're not allowed to work if your leave is curtailed, but if I have leave to remain until 30th January (and I wasn't given a new date for expiry of leave obviously) and I made a new application for a Tier 2 visa on the 3rd of January, am I still allowed to work? I think ...

Re: URGENT Tier 2 rejection - curtailment of leave

I just looked through the gov.uk document on Curtailment and apparently they can only curtail with immediate effect under certain conditions (which don't apply to me) or they can only curtail leave to 60 days unless the migrant has less than 60 days of leave remaining... which I did. So it doesn't ...

Re: Tier 2 English language requirement

Hi, I am outside U.K. And I have been just refused a Tier2 visa due to lack of evidence of English language requirement. I have been granted previous leave to remain under tier 2 in2013 2014 an in 2015, but at that time I was in uk. In 2013 I had a valid IELTS. This time I claimed points on basis ...

TIER 2 change of employer

My case: I resigned my job (T2 ) in the UK in Sept. 2016 and went back to my home country. I have not received HO's letter to curtail my T2 visa, so it's still valid. And I went to UK for a interview last month and got the offer. Now I am waiting for the new COS. I have several question below: 1 ...
