You can't compare timelines. each situation is different. it depends on your situation, and the documents you have provided.

No. We checked that, his passport is under the UN rules (UN blue passport) as he is a UN ambassador and the rule does not apply here.

And I suggest you get a lawyer, and in your cover letter your mention that all documents have been provided to the VFS (if you didn't supply your passport VFS would have not send it..)
