Re: Settled status processing times

Many applications are taking two months. My friend's mother got her pre settlement on January 17 2020. She applied online on November 14 2019 and provided biometrics on November 15 2019. Was this for a non-EEA application? EU citizens are not required to provide biometrics as they already have a bi...

Re: Settled status processing times

I've finally received pre-settled status! I now wonder about the next steps, do I need to ask for a residence card? Also my wife is non EEA so she'll be asking for pre-settled as well (we got married in the new years!). Application date: 30 November 2019 (2772 AUC) COA: 30 November 2019 (2772 AUC) ...

Re: Settled status processing times

Hi, I applied for pre-settled status on the 30th of November, received the COA the same day. I'm from Spain, I've been working for 2 years in the UK. I am still waiting. I'm quite unimpressed. Waiting my self since mid November. Patience my friend is the key This is a bit worrying, you have ...

Re: Settled status processing times

Hello, my partner who is an EU citizen applied for Settled Status on 25th November. So far she has not received a decision and we have now passed the 45-day waiting time that was reported by other applicants. It would be good to hear from other people who applied in November as to whether they have ...

Re: Change of Name and British Passport

Thank you CR001, I've read through the threads you provided. So if I do the following: - Change my name by Deed Poll. - Use Deed Poll to change my name with the Bank I have an account with and get a Bank Statement in the new name. - Obtain evidence that my country of origin does not allow changes in...

Re: Decision Letter and Prepaid Special Delivery Envelope

It takes a while for the stuff to get to the post room to be sent. That's useful to know, thank you. So the prepaid envelope will likely reach the post room on Monday and I should get it on Tuesday. You should also note that if you are using the new trial BETA service to track your application, it ...

Re: Decision Letter and Prepaid Special Delivery Envelope

Your documents will likely come in the prepaid envelope. The decision letter comes in an A5 brown envelope, 2nd class mail (looks a bit like junkmail post). Thanks CR001, but how do you explain that I have not yet received my documents back if HO used the prepaid Special Delivery envelope and the d...

Re: Decision Letter and Prepaid Special Delivery Envelope

Surely they should use the prepaid SD envelope to send back my documents? Why would they not? And I heard that sometimes they do send the approval letter in the prepaid envelope but at other times they just send it in a brown envelope using second class post. Anyone else can offer an opinion on this?

Decision Letter and Prepaid Special Delivery Envelope

Hello, When the HO asked for additional documents I sent them to the HO together with a pre-paid Special Delivery envelope. I assumed that when they reach a decision, they will send back to me my documents together with the Decision Letter in the pre-paid envelope. My question is: does the HO use th...

Re: Check the status of your application online - New servic

I would say that now the time to a Decision has increased to 4 months for those that applied in March. So it will probably be July before we receive our decisions. Does anyone know what is causing this significant delay? In Jan/Feb people received their approvals in 2-2.5 months but now waiting time...
