Re: Approval letter but GNIB expired

Hey Boyland, Congratulations! Unfortunately, you will need to wait for you to get your EU3 stamp so that you can send it to them along with your €950 fee. I don't think that they will accept expired stamp as the main reason why they ask for the stamp in the first place is to determine whether you ar...

Re: Stamp 2 within the State

According to INIS website, you can only go from bottom to the top and not the other way around(e.g from stamp 1 to stamp 6). Apparently, there are exceptions to this rule based on what has already been said on here. But, I think your question has already been answered by Ali0857. According to what h...

Re: Resident permit extension refused because of citizenship approval letter

Hey man, This is probably not what you want to hear, but the GNIB office is right in regards what they told you. There is no way they would issue you a GNIB card when you have been approved for an Irish citizenship and you accepted it by willingly fellowing the procedure in their letter to you(sendi...

Re: Parents EU1 residence card applications refused - please help

Hi Pal80uk, There is no reason to be confused. You seem to be an intelligent person. I refuse to believe that you did not make a little research of your own in regard of what you a were applying for before sending out the EU1 application form. Even if you claim that you didn't know, the EU1 applicat...

Hi ItalianBee, I am sorry to hear all that you have said about your husband. Hey Callumpirie, Plz disregard my previous post. I am afraid the second post is right..... An oversight on my part, in not considering the fact that you are not married and that she is Irish :?. However, I must advise that this route is contingent on whether the EU citizen is fulfilling their treaty...

Re: New Zealander moving to Ireland

Hey Callumpirie, You will need to apply for a Stamp 4eufam card. This is meant for a family member of an eu member state and being that the UK will still be a member of EU, during your arrival, you are entitled to the said card. You will need to fill out and lodge an EU1 Form which you can print off...

Re: data shaaring of uk and ireland

Hey Samsmaria, As you already know Ireland and UK are two different country. Just because your brother was refused UK visa, does not mean that Ireland will authomatically refuse him visa as well, especially if he is coming to study here. Institutions in different country are competing for student fr...

Re: Citizenship office asking for documents

It means exactly what they said, they need your husband to send the documents that you have mentioned. If what you are asking is whether there is a problem with your husband's application, there is none. The cItizen department contact people all the time asking for different document- either to comp...

Re: EUFAM rejected. Urgent

Hi b68722, It's good to know that your wife has a medical insurance as limitation to GP visit, is not a full health insurance that immigration requires. But as i made clear in previous posts, you only need health insurance if you were to apply as self sufficient. If you are to apply as self employed...

Hi mgb, Thanks for your "attempt in correcting my comments". But I think I never suggested that he was working for free. I am fully aware that he is in employment! But this employment, I am afraid is not recognised by the Irish immigration, hence the problems he is having and the suggestion he has g...

Hey b68722, I have been fellowing this conversation. What do you mean "you just submitted the EU1"? Is this to say that you left the space that you required to complete blank or what, even though the application form specifically says that "NO INCOMPLETE APPLICATION WILL BE ACCEPTED OR CONSIDERED". ...

I am not sure if your question is a hypothetical one or not. Unfortunately, however, the answer to your question will need you to indicate which it is first.

Hey Body, First of all Welcome to this forum! 1) your answer to the question is right. Some application can be family application, in this case they will need to choose that option. But in your case, it is a single application and you need to to indicate as such. 2) once you submit your eu1 applicat...

Hi,

It is possible to change status, but you need to write a little bit more about why you need to this as this is an unusual inquiry.
