Re: British Passports for minors - Ancestral route

Just confirming - even though the children have ancestral visas I cannot apply for them after 3 years I am still on my Ancestral. We ALL have to have ILR and then we all can apply for BP after 12 months?

British Passports for minors - Ancestral route

Question: If we as a family are currently in the UK on Ancestral visas (visa expiring in 2021) can I as the main applicant apply for our children - who are my dependants for British Passports next year (after 3 years) in the UK- if myself (main applicant) and their mother do not have ILR yet? We can...

Re: ILR after Ancestral visa - main applicant

Thank you - Now I am even more sure than ever that I understood the application the right way.

So (as I also understands it) - regardless of the dependent's income (wife) it does not "count' as she is the dependent and not the main applicant.

Is there a minimum amount they must earn to qualify?

Re: If ILR is refused how do you pack up in 28 days?

Thank you Zimba, I can't remember where I read (misread) the - you have to leave in 28 days - but that makes me feel a bit better knowing that IF the application were unsuccessful we at least have time to do the human thing by giving notices to landlords, employees, selling assets and so forth. If ILR is refused how do you pack up in 28 days?

I'm quite confident that our ILR will come through. We are currently on the Tier 1 Entrepreneur route and applied for ILR after being in the country for 5 years. But, I'm just thinking...IF (God forbid) we do not obtain ILR...How on earth do we pack up in 28 days.... Assets, running business, employ...

Re: Tier 1 Entrepreneur - ILR - 5 year settlement applicatio
