but will not keep them as they have not asked for a self-addressed envelope for these to be returned to us? All documents are sent electronically instead post unless under rarest scenarios when these are being asked to send in original. Also most of correspondence between the applicant and casework...

Re: Not sure what to put for a couple of questions on the form for Replacement BRP

I just want to add that I had to queue for three hours in the scorching sun outside the police station on 2nd August, as they were only allowing 2 people in at a time due to CoVid social distancing rules. And when it was finally my turn, upon explaining my objective of being there, my case took less...

Re: Not sure what to put for a couple of questions on the form for Replacement BRP

Hi James and all, I am also in London and lost my BRP and have submitted the application for a replacement. I entered a "Yes" for the police report as that's what the officer at the Police Station told me - they said the Home Office are well aware that the London Met police do not issue a specific ...

Re: BRP replacement for ILR holder - fee amount & time

There is no touchstone bearing out such supposition rather no harm in trying exploring more than one ways to see which one works faster. And yes looks like I will need to explore resolving the issues around my phone for the IDV app too! May things go smoothly for everyone everywhere for we all trul...

Re: BRP replacement for ILR holder - fee amount & time

Will it be quicker if done via the UKCAS IDV app then? I need to take my phone to a service centre to get help with this if so.. Re: BRP replacement for ILR holder - fee amount & time

Thank you very much Zimba. I really appreciate your help as my father's health has been deteriorating so when the country reopens the borders, I would really like to be able to fly out then. What an awful timing for me to have lost my BRP!

Re: BRP replacement for ILR holder - fee amount & time

Thank you for your reply Zimba. Apologies - was UKBA replaced by UKVCAS then? When you say I will be fine, are you aware of the "provide documents and biometrics by 2 months from application" that I spoke of? It had an exact date of 2nd October on it because I set a reminder for this but I cannot se...

Re: Lost ILR to New BRP

Hi @keskinta and @Bbkay - have you received your BRP now? I will need to travel abroad in a few months' time, and my biometrics enrolment for the replacement BRP is not until next month (October) and trying to see if anyone on ILR who lost their BRP card have managed to receive the replacement in le...

Re: BRP replacement for ILR holder - fee amount & time

I applied and paid for the replacement BRP on 2nd August, and I remember seeing a notice saying that I must have everything completed by 2nd October, i.e. have my documents submitted and the documents verified by UKBA by 2nd October. I have tried to find this message again but could not see it anywh...

Re: BRP replacement for ILR holder - fee amount & time

Do we know if invited to use the UKVCAS IDV App, if the Home Office will use the previous photo held on their system for the new BRP card? Or will they use the new photo submitted for identity check via the app for the new BRP? And as there will be no SMS update available or any update via the app i...

BRP replacement for ILR holder - fee amount & time

Hi all, Does anyone know how much is the fee for a BRP replacement for someone who has ILR ? The link here leads to an online application form, but does not provide info on the fee amount: https://visas-immigration.service.gov.uk/product/biometric-residence-permit-replacement-service .. Has anyone u...

Re: ILR (set LR) - lost details for the BRP for PSW visa

Yep, definitely ok as the application was sent before the expiry of the student visa.

It is called extended leave by section 3C under the Immigration Act 1971.

Thank you all :)

Re: ILR (set LR) - lost details for the BRP for PSW visa

Hi everyone, Hopefully someone can help clarify this. I can now see the point raised by my friend: 30/3 /2011 - end of my student visa 28/03/2011 - application for PSW sent via recorded delivery (no proof for this, I just remember the date as it was my friend's birthday) 31/05 /2011 - UKBA's approva...

Re: ILR (set LR) - lost details for the BRP for PSW visa

Thank you very much CR001 for confirming! You guys have done a really splendid job clarifying things for us applicants. No, thankfully I am not using his service - a friend who's also applying for ILR is. The "information" that I have heard from them is really doing my head in. My friend is convince...

Re: ILR (set LR) - lost details for the BRP for PSW visa

You are not required to send evidence of every visa you have held. For Set(LR) you ONLY need ALL your passports. Have you read through the Set(LR) guidance notes?? Hi CR001, I have read them. And it seems straight forward, i.e. only to submit the current BRP AND all passports held during the 10 yea...

Re: ILR (set LR) - lost details for the BRP for PSW visa

you dont need them. Thank you for your reply iworker, although this does puzzle me a little. Are you saying that I do not need to provide the details for the grant of leave during those two years under PSW, and should supplement the evidence in other forms, or that supplying the UKBA with all of my...

ILR (set LR) - lost details for the BRP for PSW visa

Dear members, I hope someone can help shed some light onto this: When applying for ILR under the Long Residence route, one might have had a number of Biometric Residence Permits (BRP). What if one has all the passports, but does not have details of one of the BRPs (as it was retained and destroyed b...
