Her old passport was in her maiden name which recently expired. We intentionally did not renew it because we were applying for British citizenship. When we ...

Re: Returning BRP but travel scheduled

Thanks the passport application has been submitted and I will be sending the docs over today.

Just planning worst case here and hoping for the best. Would I be able to enter back in on the basis of a copy of my naturalisation certificate with my old unexpired passport.

Passport identity confirmation

Hi Just a quick question, I am in the process of applying for a UK passport after getting my nationalisation approved post 1 year ILR. I realised that you need someone to countersign or have someone confirm your identity. I am applying with my wife and daughter and was wondering if 1) I can have the ...

Re: MN1 Fees

Thanks alterhase58. That i what I thought and I redid my application and found out where the issue was. The link from the council site takes you to fill out AN1 by default even though it says MN1. I googled and it took me to the correct link and I completed the application and the fees which were ...

Most of the application form is pretty simple except when it came down to the payment page. It was asking me to pay £1330, but ...

Thank you for your clarification CR001. Yes, giving an English test was one of the options that we were looking at.

Re: English Language Requirement

Hi CR001

This is where I read it - Exemptions

"an adult dependent relative between 18 and 64 of someone who is present and settled in the UK, is a refugee or has humanitarian protection"

Unless I am reading this incorrect.

English Language Requirement

Hi All Was a little confused with the terminology for the English Language Requirement. I have a Masters degree from the US and was not sure of the requirement. Would I need to get this verified by UK NARIC? Or would I still need to request the university for a letter stating that the degree was ...
