Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Process

As we know the naturalisation process make take up to six months. I wonder what are the procedures followed by caseworker after the receipt of naturalisation application? They do various checks with many different government departments etc, your immigration history, absence history, police records...

I merely responded to your post which said an absence in UK. I will leave others to offer further advice. Need some advice!!! I sent application AN two weeks ago and I found out afterwords that I've missed one trip. It was one week absences in UK which does not affect residence requirements (I did ...

Re: General Discussion During Naturalisation Application Process

I will call but wonder if someone experienced the same situation like me. If you DID NOT leave the UK, there is no reason to add it to the absence schedule. HO is ONLY interested in absence outside the UK, not holidays taken in the UK. To clarify - it was one week abroad (outside UK). As I said tha...

I sent application AN two weeks ago and I found out afterwords that I've missed one trip. It was one week absences in UK which does not affect residence requirements (I did not exceed absences allowance).
Should I notify Home Office about that trip?

Re: Advice on filling form AN for naturalisation

Just a quick questions about employment form. 1. Do I need to write days like 01/05/2012 or moths and years are enough like 05/2012? 2. I worked for company (3 months) which has bankrupted therefore no money (and tax) has been paid. Should I skip that in history employment and carry on with next emp...

Re: Advice on filling form AN for naturalisation

Do I need to provide all employment evidence since I came to UK (7 years) as per guidelines: You must provide details of all your National Insurance contributions made for your current and previous employment during the past 10 years. To support this claim evidence can be in the form of payslips, P...

Re: Advice on filling form AN for naturalisation

Hi, question regarding employment. I am EU national and I had 3 months (Sept - Nov 2011) gap history for the last 6 years. At that time I was in UK and only confirmation of that period is bank statement. Should I wait 4 months to prove 6 years of continuously work or the gap is not the issue? The g...

Re: Advice on filling form AN for naturalisation

January 2010-March 2011 and then your next job ran from December 2011-April 2013, you would need a set of documents for each period of employment, verifying the dates. If you've been working in the UK for more than 10 years, you don't need to provide evidence for any job you had more than 10 years ...
