If I use my UK credit card non sterling transaction fee would be there. How to avoid that?

I just surrendered my Indian passport and didn't apply for renunciation. I'm travelling to India ,so after coming back and once my son gets his British passport, I will renunciate with him. I will apply for e-visa to goto India.

Yes I got conflicting answers from HMPO helpline.

But I was thinking is it really required to get British passport twice ?
Once we change name via deed poll and foreign passport is cancelled , then will they not provide us the first British passport with new name?

Today I came to know that one of my referees changed address after I submitted the AN form with their previous address.
Is it enough to provide a cover letter explaining the issue and with their new address?

Should I cancel and resubmit AN form? If so will I lose my money?
