Re: Planning future return to UK - Apply visa extension now or later

Thank you everyone!! Understand getting an ILR now will probably save me some money and time in the future. However, unfortunately, I don't have enough time left for ILR as they have lost some time in UK between 2020-22 as they were away and got stuck abroad during COVID. That is the reason I did ...

Re: Planning future return to UK - Apply visa extension now or later

Thank you @Casa. I understand the immigration clock reset part. So, basically, if/when we have to return we would have to rely on Family settlement visa and cannot re-apply for dependant visa? I just checked the charges including NHS surcharge and they seem to be quite high. Also, say we get the ...

Re: Used wrong form (not MN1) for Child's BC application

It would be an invalid application because children are only registered, not naturalised which is for adults. You should get a refund of the fee less an admin fee of £25 for "Processing an application which is subsequently rejected as invalid". Hopefully so, many thanks, I've read that too. Really ...

Re: Used wrong form (not MN1) for Child's BC application

Yes, my mistake may be. I'm pretty sure I searched for MN1 form online and went through GOV website. It would have helped if the online form had this mentioned somewhere.

I've applied for the child separately after my application was approved.

So am I going to lose £1330?

Used wrong form (not MN1) for Child's BC application

Hello, I was very late to realise that there is a separate MN1 form meant to be used for a child born in UK and went ahead with submission of the form. I think I've used AN form instead and submitted my child's BC (British Citizenship) application through . My child was born in UK and I currently ...

Multiple Entry Visa to Schengen first visa France - new rules?

Hello, We are planning to visit France in end of March'23 and currently hold BRP (dependant visa) for UK. We have in the past (2015- 2017) held a Multiple entry Schengen visa. But looking at the form now, I'm bit confused with following rules on https://www.schengenvisainfo.com/schengen-visa-types ...

Re: Family VISA for ILR dependant

I've stumbled upon this link weblink removed by moderator . I think I am facing same issue. Is this true? I'm surprised as to how a bug as critical as this can stay on for so long. Anyway, if this is true, do I have to apply for my children again separately? If so what form should I use? Has anyone ...

Re: Family VISA for ILR dependant

I've tried form2 i.e as Dependant Partner and added details of my children as co-applications, but the IHS form says "You don't have any dependants". Any idea what I may have missed? The form looks all correct to me. Please suggest, my application is stuck at this point, thanks for any help!

Re: Family VISA for ILR dependant
