Re: Restricted COS refused 4 times

Hi,

In my case the company sent all of my documents when they applied for license and COS, for both stages. Solicitor advised us it would speed up the process and it really did. This is why I thought it's a standard procedure or maybe max's company is doing the same.

Re: Restricted COS refused 4 times

Hi max, SOC Code: 2136 is very broad. If your company is claiming the required post falls under shortage occupation then your company needs to justify why it requires someone with specialist skills? My company was asked this question to justify and explain the nature of job role so they can analyse ...

Re: December 2017 Restricted COS

Hi max, I am sad to see your Company's request has been rejected 4 times. I will only answer to your one question about 2136 and shortage occupation. It is a confusion amongst many people that only 2d/3d animation developers are considered in shortage occupation under SOC code 2136. I am recruited b...

Re: Sponsorship license approval

Hi, HO takes 2-3 months to process license application case. In our case it took 7 weeks when my company applied end of sep. and got approval in middle of nov. So it's not right to say if they are delaying means they are going to reject your case. For your second question it's best if you wait so mo...

Re: November 2017 Restricted COS

Hi guys,

I have a question. When employer requests COS via SMS, do they just need to fill a request cos form on portal and if asked then submit documents to HO? Also once it's approved hopefully by 11th dec next month then make the payment of COS and ISC? Am I right?

Thanks.

Re: Tier 2 - English Language Assessment

Hi bharathijai,

Yes you need to submit MOI(Medium of inst.) certificate, degree, transcript to UK NARIC for visa and nationality service. They will issue two documents:
  • Assessment of English (A1,b1,c1,c2 etc) CEFR LEVELS
  • Degree equivalency
Good luck!

Tier 2 - English Language Assessment

Hi,

I got my degree assessed by UK NARIC. My english language is considered at C1 CEFR level but my degree is considered equivalent to British Bachelor's (Ordinary) degree.

My question is that will this assessment work for tier 2?

Thanks.

Just get letters from organisations you have helped in detail. They can be used as a supporting documents but you need to have a plan to pitch to tech city UK that how you can benefit UK digital sector.

Thanks zimba for the help. I will update about the decision of HO.
