Re: How long does issuing an unrestricted COS take?

My new employer applied before Christmas and we only just received it. Took in total a month including holidays etc. So I would say be patient and wait for two weeks and it'll come through.

Re: BRP Not Arrived for Tier 2 Visa Extension

Last year around October I was waiting for my BRP (T2 replacement) for a while for the same reason (NI number verification with the Department of Work and Pensions). if you contact BRP team seperately I would think it wouldn't make any difference they'll just say they are waiting for approval from o...

It works with my GFW reference number for my application from outside the UK.

It's supposed to be used for applications inside the UK though.

June meeting should be taking place on 12th June.

I got my May RCoS on 31st May. It is indeed weird the page hasn't been updated with the May stats.

Re: Tier 2 Pre License Visit and COS

I was in similar situation as you are right now and my employer failed that visit. I wasn't asked to be interviewed. HO ppl came and chat with our MD, HR and finance. My employer at the time wasn't big either, but there were students working for them on T4. You said you're on T4 at the moment so you...

Re: Tier 2 Pre License Visit and COS

You won't be interviewed and also you are exampt from RMLT so they won't really check that during that visit. From my understanding checks on RMLT will take place when your sponsor request a CoS. The key objective of the visit is not about specifically your employment but more about if the company i...

Re: Will a newly granted T2 licence come with CoS?

Okay this is for someone looking for the same info around this, I found this in the SMS guide from HO today. It's relieving... When you applied for a licence, you should have given us an estimate of how many Tier 2 (General) CoS you would like to assign in the first year of your Tier 2 licence. Thes...

Re: Will a newly granted T2 licence come with CoS?

i believe within the licence application it asks about how many cos a year will be needed. If that is filled properly with justifications, some licences come with cos allocations. But there have been cases with licences granted with no cos allocation, application for which has to be done separately...

Will a newly granted T2 licence come with CoS?

Hi I read on the forum from a post dating back to 2012 that a new T2 licence would come with a CoS ready to use. Is it still the same today? One more question, my company applied for a T2 licence first week in March. Home Office visited our office two weeks ago, but today is the end of 8th week from...
