Re: Earnings for extension

Hello All: My initial one year HSMP is set to expire on January 23 2007 and I have been working in a salaried position with a London based concern since July 2006. Given that I will be in employment at the time when my application for extension is being considered - would it be possible for me to c...

Re: indeed

Hi Amry if i get job in the fifth month of my initial year then I am supposed to go back to my country! Do you think its fair? I feel sorry for you who may not be able to get an extension but I can see why the Home Office has done this. It does seem unfair for those who already have the visa but all the new applicants will now know what is required and will have to research more throughly how much in demand their skills ar...

Very shocking poll result indeed, so far only 15% appear to qualify for FLR(HSMP) extension without any problems. Re: Also need to look at

The other issue that no-one seems to be raising is that, if you look at the new rules for initial application and for extension, there is a big problem. In my case (I don't get points for age and only have a B. degree), I would need to earn the equivalent of £12,500 to initially qualify for the HSM...

Re: Got just one year HSMP

Hey guys, I got an HSMP, but it is valid for only one year. Honestly, I always thought that the initial visa is indeed for one year. But, after reading a few posts on this forum, I realised people get it for two years. Mine expires in july 2007. Now, the question is... Can I something do about it ?...

Vivid, I understand, it is very frustrating. Even those who fulfill the requirements, need to spend lot of time collecting original documents for preparing the application. If you are in contract kind of jobs, you hardly get time. When the extension becomes a question mark, it is very stressful. Fi...

I against the new rule

I was working in IT/telecom industry.I think I fulfill the 75 ponts and IELTS 6.5. but I against the new rule because they broke the law they implemented.

they should keep their promise ! and respect their law.

next time will be FLR(ILR).

New Rule

The new rules indecate they dont need the right people. So far extenssion has been made mission impossible for HSMP condadiates (because I know most of HSMP people take years to adjust themselves both socially and economically, in UK. Additionally, HSMP people are not acceptable to local employers a...
