Re: Pre-settled vs Retained Rights of Residence

UPDATE: I asked further and it looks they meant that if you apply through their app for pre-settled or settled status after divorce they will treat this as RoR application anyway, so there is no difference which way.

Hi guys, I called the EU Settlement Scheme Resolution Centre by telephone ( 0300 123 7379 ) and they advised to apply for Pre-Settled status instead of RoR. Retain Right of Residence and passport safety

My ex wife asked me if I can provide passport for her Retain Right of Residence application. Is there any way I send my passport directly to the Home Office and ask them to return it to me after? Is it safe to leave passport with your ex if it's not possible to send directly to HO?

Applying for a first UK passport with two non-British passports

I was going to apply for my first UK passport online, but I found that I must send "any valid passport that hasn't expired" via post? I have two non-British passports, do I really need to send them both? I checked requirements if I would be applying via post and it's only passport + naturalisation c...

Re: British Naturalisation for spouse

What if she would apply/switch for the family visa after my ceremony? Would that shorten the period required for BC to 3 years?

Re: British Naturalisation for spouse

Thank you, we will be applying for her citizenship in September if it's 3 years and we will get the requirements sorted first - so, yes, after ceremony 100%.

She is on the EEA Family Permit with 5 years resident card - it's not permanent resident card yet.

I would appreciate only constructive responses.

British Naturalisation for spouse

Hi there. I'm trying to find what is the process for my wife to apply for British Citizenship. Application by post a lot quicker than with UKVCAS ??

Hi,
I submitted my application on Feb 13th, till today there is nothing back yet. I also see that there are more people waiting even from January which used UKVCAS, where application send by post are already on March.

Any thoughts?
