Hi everyone. I have applied for British citizenship on 27th of April 2017 but I still haven't received my decision yet. After 6 months home office send me a letter saying they need more time to make a decision on my application. Now is been 9 months but still nothing received from home office. I co...
Hi, All those who received the approval letters - was it via tracked delivery, 1st class or 2nd class post? Also, does the invitation from the council arrive separate to the approval letter. Thanks Mine was a JCAP. I got a single letter from Home Office conveying: a. British citizenship approval an...
Your case is very similar to mine on the face of it even though no 2 cases are identical. Mine is as follows: 1. I am married to a British Citizen, but I lived abroad while my wife was in the UK. 2. I applied for spouse visa in June 2012 under the old rules 3. Application was refused mainly because ...
How do they send out passports-just by normal mail it seems rather than sign for etc Generally by DX Courier, dropped through the letterbox without signature, unless you live in high risk areas where they require a signature. Thanks, that will be a problem as I live in an apartment block and if the...

My application was ‘Decided’ exactly 5 months after the day it was RECEIVED by the Home Office and Letter of Approval of Citizenship ceremony received 10 days after the decision.
I feel your pain and anxiety. You just should be patient until after 6 months. Then you may ask questions about the delay. If you must know, I am celebrating the 5th month anniversary of my application today and still “awaiting a decision”!
Yes, you will keep ALL your original documents except the Life in the UK Test Letter. That seems to be the only advantage it has over other methods. Good luck!
Hello We applied for Naturalisation+passport for my husband on 15th June. We have not received any update from them, until today he received a text message from HM Passport office, saying "We'll contact you by 27th July if more info or an interview is required. If not, expect your passport by this ...
It is an irony that the more the HO increases the fees, the longer it takes them to process the applications. There seems to be no value for money. More money, less efficiency

I did JCAP and I got a text message from HMPO after I did biometric saying "We'll contact you by 15/06 if more info or an interview is required. If not, expect ...
