Re: chair of governors (school) referee

Chair of Governors at schools is normally a voluntary position, not a profession. Check with the person what their actual profession/job is. I (professionally qualified) have been a voluntary school governor a few years ago - you may find there are quite a few professionals on the school board, suc...

Re: Falling short of 5 years by 7 days

Hi All, Hope you are all staying safe and healthy. I'm currently on Tier 2 general dependant visa which I've got with in country and BRP start date is 22nd March, 2016 with a valid date until 15th March, 2021. This end date was given inline with my main applicant's t2 visa end date. She got it as a...

Re: Super Priority Serivce

You also need to remember that super priority is not a guaranteed service. There are 100s of posts on the forum where members paid for the service and their applications still took long for various reasons. Reintroducing the service to only certain categories, also likely means there is a daily cap...

Re: Tier 2 - Set O Super Priority Serivce

You can re-apply as soon you withdraw previous application. Take a screen shot of the final page as a proof. i instructed my solicitor to withdraw the application and reapply asap, she told me that we need to give 24 hrs to the system to clear the status of the original application, she then will p...

Re: Tier 2 - Set O Super Priority Serivce

Also, is it possible to switch to priority if I have already applied under the standard route but haven't taken my biometrics yet? No. Not until you withdraw your application and apply again. You can not withdraw if your current leave has expired as it will make you an overstayer. what happens if a...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Maybe irrelevant to respond now but if someone has the same question, my solicitor said to scan only front page, back and visa vignette, no other pages. How do you plan to prove your continuous residence for ILR then? Different routes have different requirements. For SETM there are no absence limit...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi, I had a quick question that I can't quite seem to find an answer to here. In uploading my documents to the UKVCAs - do I scan and upload every single page of my passport, spouse's passport, and my previous passport? or just the front and back page? I am applying under SET (M) for ILR. Apologies...
