and I am aware it is from NY. Shouldnt sheffield be doing settlement visas only? IS it possible to have them send some to the persons home country to have them reviewed?

Good news! so now NY UKVI said they are handling the right one. Still not sure why they have a settlment visa...

I investigated and i found out that it couldve been a technical error based ont he ukvi hotline, and i found out they used a different old GWF number.

so they didnt say why that happened. they have to escalate it but looks more like an error to me.

I got an email this morning from UKVI customer service just saying " considered and awaiting approval" loooks like any time now.

Never heard back. so angry. 11 working days.

So terrible. I emailed them like wednesday and didnt get to me till today monday saying " awaiting decsion". No other details. Is anyone else still having massive delays?

Hey, Im exactly the same, wife settlement from usa, to uk husband. Did you apply prioirty? If you didnt that might be the case.
