Did any of you managed to get citizenship for kids already?

Not much in my field, (tier 1 banking) it's Dublin or UK... Not sure what tier 1 banking means, so please accept my apologies if I'm very wrong. There is a lot of work outside Dublin, it is more difficult to find but once you get it you would be rewarded with much better housing situation.

Application based on: 5 years as EU citizen
Applied on: 15th May
Second stage letter & passports: 19th May
Approval: 12th Sept
Invitation: 6 Oct
Ceremony: 16th Oct

Maybe they are on summer holidays.

Why do you want to send him to Ireland? I think it is very likely they would look it as he is trying to enter UK via Ireland and refuse.

I got passport back in less than week so it seems it really varies.
