Re: FLR(FP) Application time

Does anyone know the answer to the following question. "Is an overstayer allowed to use the NHS once they have paid the IHS fee as part of their application for leave to remain, can they use it while their application is pending or can they only use it when granted leave to remain?" If anyone knows...

Re: FLR(FP) Application time

Hi, Have you tried contacting your local MP and ask him /her to write to them for an update on your case? This is some that you can do and most people do so in cases like yours. It seems like HO is taking a very long time to make decisions, charging a lot of money from people like us and not caring...

Re: Continuous Residence FLR FP

I haven't insulted anyone on this forum. I didn't say who's helpful or not and I didn't do anything unlawful. Not everyone is overly sensitive as you might be and you don't know who was helpful or not as I haven't told you. At the time I asked the question it was relevant because I didn't know the a...

Re: Continuous Residence FLR FP

That's correct, sometimes they ignore if the applicant enters illegally as long as they meet all the other criteria in the Flr Fp applications. But I never entered illegally so I don't have to worry about that. My parents brought me to this country on a visa when I was a little kid and they couldn't...

Re: Continuous Residence FLR FP

I have already got the answer to my question as I asked long time ago. Answer is for flr fp applications even your earlier periods isn't broken as long as you had left before your visa expired and came back with a valid visa or the same visa and spend less than 6 months outside the UK. Both mix of l...

Re: Continuous Residence FLR FP

Lol you don't need continuous lawful residence to be granted leave to remain under Human Rights. Even continuous unlawful residence count for it. Continuous lawful residence is required for ILR. This is general knowledge.

Hi, could you please tell me how long the application took when you first applied?
I have made the same application and haven't heard back in 5 months.
Thanks.
I haven't seen any successful half life application decided in 5 months. The minimum I have seen is just above 8 months.

Re: Help with Flr FP application extension Private life 276ade

Logically, the minimum age someone can be granted leave to remain under paragraph 276ade v half life rule is 18. I have read that the rule books allow a person to extend their leave every 2 and half years until they have lived in the UK for 10 years and then they can apply for settlement. So by the ...

Re: Long Residence (10 years) SET (LR) applications

Well as far as I know they are supposed to count the absense for the last 10 years. Anything before that shouldn't matter. If you lived 12 years legally don't worry about the first 2 years. Just think about the last 10 years.
