I received the letter from the Department in June stating that they needs to do background checks and decision will me made within 12 weeks my 12 weeks will be on the 20th September. Vetting was disclosed on the 16th of July.

I haven’t heard anything from the Department I hoping too the decision will be InshAllah this week or the next week.

I received the letter from cmu5 stating that need to do background checks decision will be in 12 weeks. It’s been already 6 weeks from the letter and vetting 4 weeks.

When I submitted citizenship application I didn’t have any points I just got last year and on the vetting link there was no option to mention about penalty points they were only asking about any criminal offence or court hearing so far I am not involved in anything.

On the vetting form there was no option driving penalty points

Does anyone have any clue about penalty points does it reflect on Garda Vetting for Citizenship as I have 3 penalty point on my Driving license does it make any difference.

I applied citizenship Nov 2016 and got my Second stage letter in Marc 2017. Based on 10 years residency stamp 4eufam. I got divorced in 2015 i applied for retention and got approved 2016 and get 10 years visa. But still waiting for final stage letter.
