Re: NIC number with biometric card?

Hi

its only certain Visa's that will have the NI number on the back, I believe its for the employment tier visa's.

My wife just applied for an NI number, as it didn't have one on the BRP.

Re: Called UKBA regarding spouse visa update

Hi

Most priority applications are taking at least 6-8 weeks, and that mostly the straight forwards ones.

As the previous poster said, after 12 weeks you can start to escalate. You have to remember the priority fee does is place your application in front of the queue of non priority applications

Hi

They charge a pre-authorised amount of £20 to your chosen card before the call, but you will notice that after a few days it will be actual amount.

I have used the service twice initially there was a £20 charge then it got reduced to the £5-10.

Hi

Are you applying from inside or outside the UK?

Because the premium service centre's are mainly for applications made inside the UK. For example further leave to remain and ILR.

Re: Spouse visa

Hi

It would be still Cat A, you state your current salary ( after the rise). I was in the same boat and ticked yes to that question.

The way they will work it out is take the lowest figured salary payment and multiply it by 12 to get your annual wages.
