Re: applying for ILR on Furlough

I don't know is it related or not. But in my company, many employees got furloughed and unfurloughed at least 3 times. I don't see any issue with that process. Yes - I believe that was the case in the first furlough in Spring. I'm not sure if the same will apply this time. Do you guys have any link...

Re: appointment for biometrics, application date, continuous leave

I see, thank you! I could not managed to add premium service to my basket at the end, it only shows one price. Thought I would be able to book an appointment for December by getting premium, and my appointment day would be considered as my application date. would I be able to upgrate after I pay th...

Re: appointment for biometrics, application date, continuous leave

1) Pay and submit online via UKVI, Scan and upload on UKVCAS. Only original passport is needed. However, originals only are advised to carry to appointment. They are not checked though. No need to carry soft copies. 2) Date of application is when you pay and submit online. Biometrics date is irrele...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi everyone Quick question Is it possible to get an in person premium 2 days service appointment for December if you fill in the SET(O) form now or have they completely stopped the premium service? I was hoping to apply on 1st December, get my ILR card within 3 weeks and be able to leave the countr...

Nope.

Still awaiting a reply from Home office on it.

Will update as soon as I receive any comms.
I haven't managed to get anything clarified either
HO is really taking their time on this one... T2 workers always get the worst treatment.

Re: Tier 2 Furloghed Workers (COVID-19)

Let's try to find some information on what happens if our salary drops due to being furloughed to a level 1-below what was stated on the CoS 2-below what was stated on the CoS and also below the minimum threshold and how this impact ILR applications.. All of these remain open/unanswered questions f...

Re: Tier 2 Furloghed Workers (COVID-19)

I called the CIH and they said Furloughing has no impact on ILR applications. I might have to be more specific next time I call them to mention the following points such as a) minimum salary requirement for ILR and b) the apportionment of your salary between the Government furlough scheme and your ...

Re: Tier 2 Furloghed Workers (COVID-19)

Just on this topic, I've become eligible to apply for ILR last week and I got the HR letter and my ILR application ready to apply, however I've been placed on Furlough now. I'm a bit confused about applying for ILR now as I'll only be paid 80% of my salary going forward for the next few months. Can...

Re: Tier 2 Furloghed Workers (COVID-19)

We already established that furlough funds do not count as access to public funds - that's fine BUT This still doesn't tell you anything about -salary reduction to a level below your CoS or below Tier 2 minimum thresholds -what happens to your continuous 5 year min leave to qualify for ILR - does yo...

Re: Tier 2 Furloghed Workers (COVID-19)

The question now is more about what happens if you are paid less than salary stated on the CoS as a result of being furloughed. And if you are terminated - how long do you have in the UK before you have to leave? But then there are no flights.. so what do you do.. This virus just doesn't comply with...

Thanks for your reply. Would that require a full new visa? They have cancelled her COS as she's finishing working there tomorrow. Tier 2 Furloghed Workers (COVID-19)

What happens to your tier 2 visa when you are furloughed due to covid19? This involves salary being reduced to 80% - which means it will be at a level below the salary stated on the CoS. This can go on for 3 months or more. There is no clarity at the moment. Does anybody know whether this means the ...
