Re: OCI photocopies

Really? I can now confirm they took one copy of photocopies for me at the VFS Goswell. 4 applications from members of my family, so those many photocopies.

OCI photocopies

Hey guys, I am applying for OCI and we are a family of 4. I remember someone telling me that I need to prepare two sets of documents (originals separate) with my application. That would make 8 sets for 4 of us. Just want to check with someone who has already done this, do I need two sets? or one set...

OCI - Apply individually or as a family?

Hey guys, I have two questions if you could help please... 1) Due to personal circumstances, I am having to apply for OCI so that I can travel to India. I have a wife and two kids. Could I apply individually for simplicity sake now and then sort others out later? OR that is not advisable? 2) I was w...

Naturalisation apply-HSMP JR-Dependent-ESOL required?

Hello, I was on HSMP JR case, got ILR last year both mine and wife's. Now would like to apply for naturalisation, both of us have passed Life in UK and have certificates. Seeing that I was HSMP I wouldn't need to give ESOL but does my wife need to give ESOL? PS - She has an engineering degree from I...

I was lucky to have my son's passport done just a day before we were flying. Couldn't sleep peacefully ever since I applied for my son's registration certificate. Only the day before got it done. No time to apply for visa though. Anyway, while going we used his Indian passport. I was asked at the He...

Not that it is going to make any difference to me but it would mean I have lost some time of my grace period.

Thanks for the info on the grace period. You are a star!

Nope, he doesn't have ILR. I did not include him to save me some money, those days naturalisation certificate used to issued in 4-5 weeks. It took good 3 months for them to issue a certificate for us, that too with a mistake. Apologies, by naturalisation certificate I meant certificate of registrati...

I am assuming because Myvisaqueries ticked Tier 1 general under HSMP judicial review, he was asked 12 months payslips+bank statements?

Everywhere else on this forum, it has been 3 months payslips+bank statements for HSMP JR cases.

Not sure about your first two points but for the third point 1) After you get your MN1 registration certificate, apply for British passport from IPS 2) Surrender Indian Passport 3) Either apply for Indian visa or apply for PIO card for your daughter (there is a lot information on this forum for this).
