conformation of address is an email they send asking if you can confirm where the documents should be sent to you, as they are about to send them back and entre you to the FBR.

I assume because the process is taking so long people may have moved etc.

So close yet so far .. we had contact on 16/12 to ask for new photos (which we sent back immediatley) as it has been over 18 months and my son is now 2 and now they have shut again!

i applied on 09/07/19 and they confirmed application/receipt on 12/08/19 and this is the first I have heard since then today.

yeah i would assume (hope) if they needed to be certified they would specify this in the request.
