Apologies if this question has been answered before (I did try looking but couldn't find the answer). I am submitting an online naturalisation application for myself, wife, and son. You cannot do anything about it. You have to wait for 6 months before contacting your MP or taking further actions.

I hope you hear the good news soon.

It must have cost you fortune so far. You now have 12 more months before forking out huge chunk of your money for one last time.
True. But it'll all pay off in the near future :)

Re: British Citizenship after ILR

No. But the expectation for children born outside the UK is that at least one parent is a British citizen or applying to become one and the other parent is on ILR. So they can apply for MN1 registration when you apply for British citizenship. Can they apply for MN1 while me and my wife applying for...

Re: ILR through Long Residencey

How old are the under 18 children?? You seem to be missing the point that if you apply for ILR based on Long residency, they cannot apply for ILR based on PBS Dependent visas, the rules don't permit this. They're 17, 13, 6 Oh I see, so their PBS Dependent Visa must be revoked in order to apply for ...

Many Thanks
No it wont, the ILR clock will reset to zero, so your wife needs to stay for another 5 years to qualify for ILR.

Re: ILR through Long Residencey

Does completing 10 years under PBS Dependant ONLY count for ILR Long Residence ? Yes but if you wait for that and you have travel, it is risky and and they risk being refused re-entry due to you not getting ILR based on Tier 1 Ent. I looked at the gov website for settling if 1 or 2 parents had ILR....

Re: ILR Long Residence

@makky86 Thank you very much for the quick response. i will not be having a valid visa the day i am completing my 10 years. will that be an issue ? You're eligible to apply 28 days prior to completing your 10 years. So as @makky86 said you can apply on 1st June 2018 in person using premium service.

How much total absence do you have in the past ten years? Not quite sure, but its an average of 3 to 6 months per year. I must travel every month or every two to attend for my other businesses, its an obligation and stated on the contract I've signed with major parties. I read somewhere that any ap...
