Re: Proof of dependency eea family permit

Gibralter father could sponsor under EUSS Family Permit, however. Perhaps the OP meant that, and not the EEA family permit.

Re: Dependency after 5 years of residence as EEA family member

Hi - I placed the post you are referencing. I just want to clarify things - I've gotten wildly differing advice, from various "help" legal centres. The one I posted (must remain dependent for the full five years) was just one set of advice. It has been all over the place, from one extreme (this one)...

Re: EEA family permit rules and regulations

Oh, sorry, I did not read that carefully. The permit and residency cards allow them to live with you in the UK. If you are not living in the UK... I'm thinking that your family members don't have a right to live there, either. Suggest you speak with an immigration consultant ASAP.

Re: EEA family permit rules and regulations

Hi. I believe that an EEA family permit is only good for a few months. The holder may come in and out of the UK as many times as they like in the period it is good for. Once it expires, they should probably have a Family Member residency card. It's not required for direct family members, but it may ...

Re: Adult Dependent Children EU v new EU settlement scheme

Sorry, to be more precise, we were told: Where a non-EEA child of an EEA citizen holds pre-settled status under the EU settlement scheme it is important to determine whether the non-EEA child obtained their pre-settled status when they were under 21 years old or whether they obtained the grant of pr...

Adult Dependent Children EU v new EU settlement scheme

We are EU. We have been told that our adult non-EU dependent child, who entered the UK on an EEA family permit and obtained an EEA family member residence card was legally able to work in the UK, because the dependency had to have been in the country from which we moved. It was, and the adult child ...

Re: EEA application status - online

Hi everyone, Only since someone asked in the timelines thread, I wanted to share this link where you can check your EEA application status (EEA FM for us). I used our royal mail tracking number, Case ID reference didn't seem to work. Some or maybe most of you may know this but just wanted to share ...
