Re: Visa Options for Indonesia?

KITAS is a temporary stay visa (kartu izin tinggal sementara), with your wife as sponsor. More info here: http://www.expat.or.id/info/docs.html#KITAS I don't live in Indonesia anymore, so I'm not really up to date with current visa procedure. But be prepared to spend a bit of money. You can use an a...

Re: Visa Options for Indonesia?

Shouldn't you apply for a KITAS if you are married to an Indonesian? That will at least mean you don't have to go to the immigration office every month. But that doesn't allow you to work, unfortunately. The only way that I know of getting a work permit is to be sponsored by an employer - pretty muc...

My kid needs to travel in January with her mum and looks like it is not going to be possible with 1 month timelines.[/quote] It was a PO B...

Re: Thanks for great effort

My wife posted her application on 19th October 2011 and received acknowledgment 0n 21st October. This is for SET(M) and should be the most straightforward to process. I suspect ten minutes would do it! If someone would like to add her to the list I would appreciate it! Her status and all the docume...

Got it!

Just to share. My husband received his ILR (postal set M) today!

Our timeline - posted application 22/10/11 by special delivery, passport returned today 29/2/12, so 19 weeks (I think) in all. Letter is dated 18/2/12.

All the best to everyone who's still waiting

Why do you need a home inspection report? Sorry I haven't been following all your threads but unless there's a question of your house being overcrowded, won't a copy of your lease be enough?
