Actually, they didn't. I included a special delivery (1-day) SAE and it was returned in that. I can only surmise that it sat on someone's desk for 10 days.

Application submitted 22/10/12, passport with ILR (set M, spouse) returned today 29/02/12, so almost 19 weeks in all.

Just to share. My husband received his ILR (postal set M) today!

Our timeline - posted application 22/10/11 by special delivery, passport returned today 29/2/12, so 19 weeks (I think) in all. Letter is dated 18/2/12.

oh yes, they have birth certificates from the Brit Embassy in jakarta, too.

The children have British passports from the embassy in Jkt. They will need renewing before we travel though.
