I am sorry for your lost

My advice is just to call the council and cancel your ceremony and re book it again for next month. You can travel on your ILR because you won't be British citizen until you have done the ceremony

You will be required to submit evidence that you have been living in the UK as your passport doesn't get stamped so it is more likely they will ask for the P60's of the last 5 years as a proof of evidence

You can no longer use ESOL qualifications as proof for citizenship applications. From November 2015, an English language qualifications from the Home Office approved list of acceptable qualifications will be accepted
