Re: B2 Visa for Indian living in UK

why would you need to show your indian papers?
Just show your uk based income statments, work letters, and rent statements etc.
since you are based in the uk with a valid work visa, you do not need to show any indian data.

Re: Visit Visa to USA

So what is the main purpose of your visit?
What do you plan to do for the 2 weeks? Where are you going? What are the detailed plans?
This is what they could ask you, so just preparing you.

Bring some copies of previous tax returns, payslips, company returns, etc.
That should help.

Going for Christmas shopping to the US? Wow, so you should have no problem showing some pre-booked accommodation and strong work ties back to your home country.
Good luck.

Thanks so much Seanjoe for your responds. We have proof of adequate funds but we don't have proof of return tickets as we intends to book our flights as soon as our Visa is granted. Re: Clarity on express entry

Yes, once you are in the pool, you will be in the pool but have to keep updating your profile. So for eg. as your age advances, your points go down, but as you add more work experience, your points go up.
At any point in time, you may get a nomination or you may not.
Good luck.

Re: Clarity on express entry

To be considered for express entry, your work experience does not need to match your qualifications, but you do need to identify the most relevant NOC code and ensure that the job description within the NOC outline matches your actual job duties and role.

Re: Did I overstay in the US as a minor?

Tricky question. If your dad left at a particular instant, his visa would have ceased to exist from the moment he "abandoned" his status. That time frame depends on the visa type. For eg. if he left to go on holiday with the intent of coming back, then you all could stay in the US till he returns. B...

Re: Visit Visa to USA

This is a very strange case. I am very shocked to hear that your friend was asked about your wife being pregnant? That just seems so weird. The B1 is for business and the B2 is for visit/tourism. Anyways, when you book a B1/B2 visa, you need to have proof of your return ticket, proof of funds and in...

As soon as the parents become citizens, the children under 18 can apply to become citizens. They do not need to be a PR.

I do not see any reason why your ESTA should be invalid till you have a letter from USCIS stating that you have another US immigrant visa.

Re: Information on IELTS for migrating to Canada

You have to take the general test if applying to immigrate (ie. as a resident). You have to take the academic test if applying to study (non-immigrant). With regards to the NOC code, suggest you check the number out in the website and check whether the job description they have matches with what you...

Medical coverage for visiting parents - pre-existing condi

Hi, I am a green card (GC) holder for the US and plan to bring my parents on a 6 month visit. I know I can apply for their GC till I become a citizen. My main concern is their medical coverage. My mom is 79 and my dad is 80 and they have pre-existing conditions. Does anyone know what the best plans ...

Re: Applying for FSW - UK Citizen

Hi. Regardless of where you were born or which country you hail from, you need to prove your English language via a set of tests as decided by CIC. IELTS is what I've done; and you get points based on your level acquired. If your wife is moving with you, her points will also be added to yours if she...
