Re: Accepted Professions (sticky)

Would someone with a title "Director of a department" in a large well known VAT reg. charity be okay?
I could ask someone who's in the list of people on company house, but I don't know them well at all.

Re: EEA ILR/PP self employed in a different country during stay in UK

I couldn't remember my password and I couldn't reset it, so I created a new user name (utterly), then I saw my original password was saved on a different computer. I'm not sure which one to use now..

EHIC - which form as proof

Hi,

I received a form called "E 104" as my proof of EHIC for a given period in an EU language. That's different to what the guidance says - for mS1, S2 or S3.

Is it okay if I translate this form, or does this needs to be done by some kind of formal translator?

Re: EEA ILR/PP self employed in a different country during stay in UK

Hi, To be clear, I'm asking: - should I go for a self-sufficient person or self-employed? I was living here, self-employed in the EU and did my tax return in the UK. I paid tax through HMRC (as well as in the EU) - but I cannot see NIN contributions on the tax return, so not sure if I was paying tha...

Re: PR application questions

Anyone know of what date to use for employment if HMRC doesn't have exact dates?

And is there an example or templateof a legal letter/explanation, when you apply as a job seeker?

PR application questions

Hi, I've got a few questions below in regards to applying for my PR. I'm wondering how do I get the official start and end dates of my jobs - should I take it from the HMRC employment history which shows longer periods of employment by some companies because they have forgotten to tell HMRC the corr...

Re: EEA PR employment gaps

I keep wondering whether it is worth applying for PR as the result of Brexit. The future status of those having exercised their Treaty Rights for five years will be ask to apply again for the settled status once the UK leaves the EU. Double the money; double the trouble and anxiety given that at th...

Re: EEA PR employment gaps

Thank you Indguru90! Your advice is truly invaluable.

I'm awaiting HMRC's employment history and hopefully it'll show I've been unemployed less than 6 months in total. And hopefully I get proof of EHIC soon too.

EEA PR employment gaps

Hi, I've got 2 questions relating to employment gaps. 1) I've been here for 5 years, but in the first 8 months my employer didn't contribute to tax or NIN (had no clue until the company went under, I provided my payslips to HMRC just in case afterwards, they told me they had no record of any contrib...
