Re: General discussion on naturalization applications

It's been 8+ months since the application. Got some sort of a response now confirming that the application is with them and nothing else concrete. The message is all about it's covid, they make enquiries with other external agencies which might delay progress etc. So does this mean theoretically th...

Re: General discussion on naturalization applications

At what point does the UKVCAS release the appointment? I checked at 1pm today (Sunday) and then again just now (7pm Sunday) and found that at local Enhanced service point - there is nothing available till 19th October. Is this normal and will more appointments be released? :o I received the followi...

Those who got the approval email eventually, can you please confirm whether it's clear from the email that the ILR has been granted? I've read somewhere that the email can be vague (e.g. just says the BRP will arrive soon blah blah) It states that ‘ Your application for indefinite leave to remain i...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Just to check how long it will take for HO to send the decision email after biometric is submitted. I have seen some people getting a decision within a few days but is this a new norm? Anyone who has been waiting for a while after biometric is taken? Cheers. Most of the SET(M) and SET(O) applicants...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Just wondering if any of the SET(LR) applicant has received decision email after submitting biometric? I'm a bit worried since most of the SET(O) and SET(M) applicants received the request to send the documents to caseworkers but I didn't find any of the SET(LR) applicant receive such request. Thanks.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Just called the UKVCAS. They said 1) the Home Office randomly picked people to join the ‘biometric reuse’ group, and 2) currently there are more than 15000 applicants waiting for the appointment or IDV app 3) there’s no ETA for the appointment booking email for the applicants choose to opt out.

Just to make you aware my partner received e-mail from FES appointments at 7:30pm today to book appointment. Application Set(o) t2G, 09/07. E-mail clearly states you are not eligible for bio reuse (despite last biometrics was 2 years ago). Easily booked for tomorrow for 135. Hope this helps, Thanks...
