Hello To those who have got their permit, have you tried tracking the application on this link? If yes then when does it start tracking with vfs number? https://contact-ukvi.homeoffice.gov.uk/app/visa_application/checkvisastatus I have been checking with vfs reference number and it’s not recognisin...

Re: Sheffield Visa Section - EEA FAMILY PERMIT

Hi guys, My Taiwanese wife's EEA family permit was approved yesterday. To recap, we applied in Madrid on 1 August and escalated twice, got MP to help us (he wrote to UKVI but apparently never got a response) and complained to the Home Office. Not sure if any one or more of those made a difference. ...

Just wandering around on various forums. Became my daily routine ;) This one notably [LINK REMOVED] , re the avalanche of decisions. The "Oct 31st" email was sent primarily to those who had biometrics before July. Hi everyone, My wife applied in Kiev on the 14th of August. I have escalated applicat...

Re: Sheffield Visa Section - EEA FAMILY PERMIT

Hi Merzit, It's depressing to read your news because we also applied from Madrid on 1 August. It's now been nearly 45 working days so it's dreadful to think we have another 45 days to go just to reach the point you're at. Hello Willy Yes.. sadly I am thinking I need wait all 120 working days... It ...

Re: EEA FP Approved in 1 day

I believe my application was processed within the States. As instructed, I sent all documents and my application to a United States address, and it was return-posted from that same office. I was not told to send any documents to the UK at any point. Best of luck to everyone, I feel very lucky and w...

Re: EEA FP Approved in 1 day

Congratz, guys! I'm on another forum where most of us have been waiting at least 30 working days, in some cases up to 120 days and still counting for an EEA family permit. Somebody just saw your posts and it's absolutely unbelievable. Did you get a response from the Sheffield visa processing centre ...

Re: Sheffield Visa Section - EEA FAMILY PERMIT

It seems that over the past couple of days there was an avalanche of emails with the following content, from the UKVI: "Dear Sir/Madam, Thank you for applying for a UK visa. Due to it being our busiest period, I am afraid we are unable to make a decision on your application within our usual timesca...

Re: Sheffield Visa Section - EEA FAMILY PERMIT

I understand this but it would still be helpful to know if those that are waiting 100+ days if they are from cities which had higher processing times in May. I applied in a city which outlined 100% were processed in 30 days in May 2017. If others who have applied in cities with shorter processing t...

Hello all I am tired of escalating and complaining to MP and SOLVIT. I had reply from SOLVIT and it was from Germany SOLVIT as my wife is German. Re: Sheffield Visa Section - EEA FAMILY PERMIT

Where they regularly updating processing times on their website prior to brexit? They havent updated guide times since may 2017. Is this intentional as they are delaying or was this always the case? The latest info is also for May (Madrid) and I've just noticed that while before the maximum wait wa...

Re: Sheffield Visa Section - EEA FAMILY PERMIT

We "re-escalated" today, it being working day 16 since we first escalated, that being working 16 days after the original application. I guess we'll have to "re-re-escalate" in 15 days' time and so on... While their call centre is pretty useless all things said and really haven't got anything meaning...

Re: Sheffield Visa Section - EEA FAMILY PERMIT

Some updates from my side: August 28th was my last day for the first escalation so I called again and I was allowed to escalate it for a second time. They told me since it was my second time escalating it, the manager will refer it to the UK decision team with utmost priority. I am hopeful that we ...
