Re: Declaring an arrest after NFA for SET(LR)?

Thanks Zimba for clarifying - I'll just leave it undeclared. All should be good (fingers crossed!).

Will refresh and try to get the super priority service :)

Declaring an arrest after NFA for SET(LR)?

Hi all, Submitting my SET(LR) application soon - 10 years minus 28 days. I imagine my application is very straightforward, except for one 1 small hiccup: A few months back, I was (falsely) accused of sexual assault. Was arrested and the lot. Provided the Police with the exonerating evidence which le...

Re: Long Residence (10 years) SET (LR) applications

Also, if possible for the first question, can you please link me the guidance? They only state that in the guidance on the 5 year route and not the 10 year route.

Re: Long Residence (10 years) SET (LR) applications

Hi guys, I'm sure these questions have been asked before but: - Does days of departure and arrival into the UK count as days of absence? (i.e. if I leave on the 24th to France for example and come back on the 26th, will it only be 1 day of absence?) - Does the Home Office have information on our dep...

Lack of acknowledgement email- applied in Vietnam

Hi forum, I applied on the 24th of August and haven't had my acknowledgement email from UKVI yet, unlike most others here (or so it seems). I'm just wondering if anyone is in a similar position since the email often indicates the start of the consideration process. I've also noticed that many of the...

Re: Tier 4 General Visa from India - 2017

Did everyone here scan all their documents? I didn't have to hand anything in, they scanned all my documents and gave me it all back, only thing they kept is the passport.

Re: Tier 4 General Visa from India - 2017

Hey guys, did everyone here apply for the VFS SMS service? I didn't and I haven't received an email from UKVI confirming the application yet, although it's only been 5 days so I'm just curious if I will receive the email without the SMS service.

Re: Intention to leave- tier 4 interview

Yeah I mean I shouldn't really be too worried haha what scares me is the UKCISA report on students being refused for not being able to name course modules or number of students in the class and stuff which is just insane so I sort of have this fear of them finding any possible reason to refuse a visa.

Re: Intention to leave- tier 4 interview

I just have another little question. My course actual start date is 30th Sept but in the interview I said 1st Oct for the start date, literally 1 day after (as I remembered it from the website). Do you think that this is a big deal re the credibility test?

Re: Intention to leave- tier 4 interview

I was more worried about them refusing for being a 'fake' student for not wanting to return home haha it's rather nerve-wracking.

Re: Intention to leave- tier 4 interview

Thank you for clarifying! I just wanted to be sure because I didn't specifically say I'll return to my home country after studying in the interview and I was a bit nervous that they could refuse the visa because of that. It's a relief now knowing they can't :)

Re: Intention to leave- tier 4 interview

Thanks for the link! I'm trying to crawl through it for the info but by 'No', do you mean they can't refuse students under intention to leave?

Intention to leave- tier 4 interview

Before 2015, it is stated in the policy guidance that: 'For those considered to be genuine students, intention to leave the UK at the end of the course is not relevant as there are many basis on which an individual could lawfully remain in the UK' However the guidance is withdrawn in April, 2015. Do...
