UK Spouse Visa Extension Fees

Hi there, I'm planning to apply for the 1st spouses visa extension for my wife, she's been in the UK for almost 2.5 years (since entry). From the online application form, I see the IHS fee is £1,000 however are there any other fees apart from this i.e application fee, biometric card fee (she already...

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

My wife visa has been approved and is a Multiple-entry, Spouse/Civil Partnership type visa. She landed in the UK 4 weeks ago and her visa has now expired. Is she allowed to travel abroad for 2 weeks without restrictions at the UK border when she returns or will she need to apply for a new visa? Any...

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

Hi guys, just wondering what are the restrictions for my spouse to travel back to India for a summer holiday with me next year?

She just landed 3 weeks ago so I'm not sure if she needs to stay in the country for a certain time before she can travel.

Any help would be appreciated.

Do successful applicants need to bring anything other than our passport when they arrive in UK?
Take the original TB certificate, if you submitted it initially.
Is this essential we bring TB certificate?

Anything else we need to bring?

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

Congrats to all those who got their visas!

What documents do we need to take with us to prepare us for immigration when we land in UK?

Is the passport with the stick-in vignette entry clearance visa all we need?

Or do we need to bring anything else?

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

Guys happy weekend. Congratulation to all that have received visa. Just holding on to God. It's 26 days since a decision was made and I still have not gotten my passport or have an idea if our settlement was approved. Nobody to hold accountable. I called HO to escalate again. Has anybody experience...

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

I wonder when the people who applied in early sept will get a response inshallah this waiting game is sooo painful ! What waiting game have you suffered? We have been waiting since December 2016! Some people have been waiting since November 2016 with priority. I hope you don't have to wait as long ...

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

Also applied in Jan 2017 from New Delhi with standard (non-priority) application. Got 31st Oct email too. I counted and there are around 2 people waiting from Nov 2016, 4 people waiting from Dec 2016 and 8 people waiting from Jan 2017. Hopefully, we will all get our decisions very soon, in Jesus name.

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

Seems a lot of decisions are now coming.

There should be a lot more now it's October.

Some are still waiting from Last November 2016 so I'm hoping they get decisions sooner.

Stay faithful in Jesus Christ name and it will come.

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

What we've learned from the last few days: 1) Those who got the email 'A decision will be made before 31st October unless we tell you otherwise" were those whose documents got sent to Sheffield. 2) The gov.uk online tracker does not work for applications made outside the UK ------ Many of us have be...

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

The UKVI call center has no power and the escalation does nothing. The UKVI call center act as a private business set up to make money on the side of being a point of call for general inquiries and application updates. They can not make the decision process any faster or give any insight for the del...

Good news.
I also applied on April and recieved hold email on July. Today I phoned the home office and he mentioned he will urgently escalate my case.
When you say you called the HO, do you mean you called the UKVI call centre?

Seems to be a lot of people waiting from January 2017 and earlier for their spouse settlement visa to be decided.

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

Has anyone here applied earlier than Dec 2016 and still waiting for a decision?

Just curious what those people are doing and what they've been told about the wait.
