The name says it all. Biometric Residence Permits (BRPs) are issued under the UK Immigration Rules and cease to have effect when the person becomes a British citizen. Lou Far thanks! U need your invitation letter if you want to book your appointment. Just phone your local council if you have got your invitation letter and you dont need your biometric letter for this! I have got some paperwork with certificate today and it is written that i need to return my biometric residence permit within 5 days...but they didnt specify if it is eu route or british route....so i hope I'll be...

Ceremony and PR card

Hello everyone, I have a ceremony today ( thank you all), just wonder what should i do with my Permanent Resident card please? As it says I need to cut it in 4 pieces and post it to home office but some people advised that i dont need to do it? It is a permanent residence card of a eu family member....

Hi,

I have submitted my application on 13/10/2018

Yesterday i have collected my docs from post office with approval letter...so it took me 25 days in total)

Hey, i think you need to apply for shengen visa because permanet card is only for uk, u can't use it to travel to eu..i did ask the question at airport when was travelling home last time and they phoned someone for advise and told me thay i still need visa for eu countries.

Thanks for advises....I'm a bit confused now....can i still apply for citizenship with non eu permanent residence card? As far as i understood changes may happend in November 18 but for now it is still ok to use permanent residence card even if we separated now (I'm non eu)?
