Re: UK visa application delay experiences

I had my biometrics on 18th August and no news at all. Yep, I don't know what to do since I am resident in Spain but not national :? So maybe writing to them is useless. I don't think that should make a difference. All that matters is the country you've applied to isn't responding. I have just twee...

Re: UK visa application delay experiences

I applied as well from Spain, do you think it would help if we sent an e-mail to Madrid's British Embassy? Or it would be useless? :| I was just thinking that too. I have just seen a post where someone from Egypt tweeted the embassy there but because in Spain, the British embassy doesn't deal with ...

Re: UK visa application delay experiences

Thanks... Let's hope for the best. Im just really tired of hearing the same answers from UKVI. It's more humane to just reject us if they dont want us to come to their country. I've travelled to a number of other countries but never have I heard or experienced any of them ripping off and humiliatin...

Re: UK visa application delay experiences

My CAS hasn't been used yet. I'm definitely gonna miss programme registration. I give up. I don't even care anymore.. You are quite right. The charm of studying overseas is somehow lost but still we should not lose heart. I am sure that week will bring good news for your in-particular..!!! Thanks.....

Re: UK visa application delay experiences

Hey guys, It's been already 16 working days and no word from UKVI, even though I paid for priority and called them several times to escalate my case. No sorry for delay e-mail or not straightforward e-mail, just nothing. Course starts on 18/09 and I am starting to get really angry and frustrated. I ...

Re: UK visa application delay experiences

It is from the appointment day, according to what UKVI told me when I called them. Thank you for your reply! Not really what I wanted to hear but I guess it's good to be prepared for the worst. Did you use the priority service as well? Yes, I used Priority and had my Biometrics on 18th August, toda...

Re: UK visa application delay experiences

I am going to apply for a visa this Saturday (couldn't before due to the 28-day rule) on the Priority Track. My visa counsellor told me that although the advertised waiting period for a priority application is 5 working days, they take 15 working days nowadays. Is that count from the day I send my ...
