Re: Exceptionally Complex Issues - Switching From Tier 4 to Tier 2

Hi all, I received an email today stating my application raises exceptionally complex issues, and I was wondering if anyone could share possible reasons why? I recently completed a master's program in the UK and applied to switch to a Tier 2 visa while within the UK. My Tier 4 visa expired on Janua...

Re: IHS CHARGES GOING UP

Look at this this way, me as a UK citizen and many others have paid into the NHS system for many years (nearly 40 years in my case) contributing how much I've no idea, probably well into six figures. Average NI payments in UK are 10% of earnings, say £2k pa conservative estimate, so I can see no pr...

Re: IHS CHARGES GOING UP

I thought £200 per year x 3 to 5 years upfront was bad. This is coming from a Tier 4 switching into another category. Isn't the qualification of bank account maintenance enough? UK always trying to a find someway to curb migrant entry. They might see a deterrence of the highly skilled workers. Bank...

Re: Tier 4 Masters, FLR(hro), switching tier 2

An Immigration advisor advised to fill out the FLR form to extend my stay and withdraw once my employer sorts out the licence and receives the sponsor licence number to apply for the tier 2 online. Did the immigration adviser talk you through the logistics, potential problems and likely outcomes of...

Tier 4 Masters, FLR(hro), switching tier 2

Hello, I have been on Tier 2 from August 2016 to 30th of January 2018. My employer, NHS needed more time to sort out their new licence. This caused a delay because they did not have their licence number. They say they will receive it at the end of February. An Immigration advisor advised to fill out...

Re: TIER 4 STUDENT VISA MARRIED TO AN IRISH CITIZEN

I can only answer one of these questions because I recently submitted a FLR (HR0) form after my Tier 4 student expired and my employer needed more time to get the licence number. You are lucky. I wish I could just marry the Irish guy I've been seeing but don't think he is there yet. I am from the Un...

Re: (Urgent) Tier 2 application approved, can I drop out of MSc?

OK . I have the answer. Yes, I need to complete the course before putting in a Tier 2 application. However, my employer can hold off on sponsorship certificate before my tier 4 expires(30th of January) which gives me three months to apply(before 30th of April). Giving me the deferral I need to rece...

Re: (Urgent) Tier 2 application approved, can I drop out of MSc?

UNIVERSITY IMMIGRATION ADVISORY told me I can switch to tier 2 without completing the masters UNLESS the employer specifically asks for certificates. However, They shouldnt because I didnt include it in the application. This degree doesnt apply to the role unless they HR wants proof I am enrolled. Wh...

Re: (Urgent) Tier 2 application approved, can I drop out of MSc?

My B.A. and other Masters degree is from the United States. The first masters is from NYU. I received a tier 4 for university of London. I wasn't doing well and did a deferral to give me more time to find permanent work. However, I am afraid by not completing the UK masters will cause an issue with ...

Re: (Urgent) Tier 2 application approved, can I drop out of MSc?

I really would like to know what happened with Cynthia. I am in the same situation. I am interviewing with sponsored companies and mailing out cover letters with updated CV later this week. I did a medical deferral of disseration and failed modules to 30/11/17 just to give me more time to wait until...
