This is a minor issue. It will not affect the application. If you want to clarify you can add a note in the cover letter and upload with the documents before biometrics.

If the form does not let you proceed without entering a surname, try entering N/A to proceed or just enter the first name and clar...

These days biometrics appointments are running at a 28 days lag i.e. you get an appointment for the 28th ...

Re: Process to get Children British Passport (Born before ILR)

Thank you. a) Parent surname field is mandatory in online forrm but parent doesn't have surname on the passport. So shall I mention the first name in the last name field as well? If parent does not have a surname, you can not mention the surname as the first name as it will be not correct. Is there...

Re: British Citizen returning to UK with EU passport

As long you can make it to UK border/Heathrow i.e. you have no restrictions to board a flight etc, you will be okay. You may face some delays before the UK immigration officials carry out some checks before releasing you.

Re: A goof and a miss

Home Office call centre is outsourced to a third party. I doubt they will be able to help you out. Many members have booked biometrics appointments after the deadline during corona, it should be okay. You should rather focus on finding an earlier cancellation. Appointments open up every day 1AM BST ...

Just book the biometrics appointment again and attend. Hopefully will be okay. ...
