Re: English Requirement

She's unfortunately not a US citizen, which is why this is a bit of a headache now. She got her visa back then without using UK NARIC and if we can avoid going through this process it'll be much simpler.

Didn't know they were outsourced! Thanks for letting me know.

English Requirement

Hello I'm doing the application for the second half of the wife's spouse visa. One of them questions in there is for her English Requirement. The wife holds a bachelor's degree from the States. When we applied for her first period I remember being told by the Home Office that UK NARIC isn't needed f...

Ireland - Days of Absence

Hello I was hoping to get some guidance on the above. I know that it is standard exit procedure if you fly from the UK to Ireland (so swiping the passport at check-in notifying them). However, coming back into the UK if I remember correctly you don’t go through any immigration, meaning you don’t hav...

Re: UK Departure Stamps / Passports

Hi all I would really appreciate if someone with experience can shed some light on this. I recently just got my British Passport. I also have another nationality so I hold two passports. Now I don't want my home country to find out that I have become a British Citizen (it's not illegal, I just don'...

Passport application pending confirmation from HO/UKVI

Hello Does anybody know how I can speed up the communication between the HO/UKVI to HMPO? I know that they say 3 weeks but I've seen people attending ceremonies on the same day as me (9th Jan) or even later than I did and have got their passports. I've contacted all 3 HO/UKVI email addresses I found...

Re: Citizenship questions

What PCN do you have?

It does say in the application you don't need to declare anything minor like parking fines etc.

If you apply with NCS, during the process they will ask you to tick a box if you had more than one PCN within the past year, as far as I know that's where you declare it.

Becoming a BC - Missus' Spouse Visa

Hi all

I've become a British Citizen and was previously on an ILR. When I was under ILR the missus came to the UK under a spouse visa under my ILR status. Now that I've become a BC will she need to do anything about her visa? Like informing the HO for anything.

Thanks!

Re: British Citizen Born Abroad

Thanks for the reply :)

I know they'll be British, I just don't know what's the fastest way to get him into the UK. So I can just take him into the UK with their American passports and say they're my kids, then apply for a passport in the UK? Thank you so much for your help!

British Citizen Born Abroad

Hello I have a question with regards to my kids (twins) born in the USA. I am a British Citizen by naturalisation and my missus has a spouse visa in the UK under me. I understand that my kids will have qualified as British Citizens under me but I wanted to ask what's the fastest way to bring the kid...

Immigration Remote Form

I'm taking a general aviation flight into Luton, not for the first time, but for the first time I have been asked to fill out a 'Immigration Remote Form'. I have an ILR and am a registered traveler so technically I shouldn't need to be filling in any forms. It sounds like they've got nobody to stamp...
